About the host
Hosted by Jennifer Lovin
Originally from North Carolina, now living in Brooklyn. I wanted a quiet escape from the city and a chance to be in nature for me and my dog.
I love traveling, food, cocktails, swimming and animals. I work in film and television, generally comedy and that is also a big interest and hobby of mine.

Why they chose this property
The Poconos is a wonderful escape all year round. Beautiful fall foliage, snow and winter activities, and a summer that is not as hot as the city, along with plenty of activities.
Lake Naomi has so much to offer as a country club and the surrounding area is great for both indoor and outdoor activities.
It’s also a peaceful respite from the hustle of everyday life.

What makes this property unique
This bent twig chalet was built in 1968. There is so much mid-century charm: wood panels, a wall of mirrors, a unique staircase banister and the general architecture.
I tried to accentuate the mid-century aesthetic with my interior design. And even the renovations have tried to maintain that vibe.
And while it is a relatively small home, the layout helps it feel bigger. With each room accommodating a queen bed, dresser and closet, it’s easy to settle in for a short or long stay.
