Enjoy a peaceful stay at this fabulous 2-bedroom house in New Orleans. The bedrooms feature 2 queen beds, 1 full bed, and 1 twin bed, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep for all guests. One of the bedrooms features a wall mounted TV, and the other has a tablet for guest use. With amenities like heating, AC, and an iron, you'll have everything you need for a perfect stay. The full and half bathrooms are equipped with a hair dryer and shower for added convenience. Feel free to reach out to us during your stay - we're happy to suggest local spots to check out. The screened in porch provides an incredible relaxation space, and with the Bluetooth speaker set, you can easily listen to your favorite music while enjoying coffee, the Pickleball Court or some TV. The fans help keep that porch cooler, and there is ample seating for all guests to enjoy together. The pickleball court is a great family activity and something that is rarely publicly accessible in the city. The kitchen is fully equipped with all your basic cooking needs. There is a Kureg coffee maker with coffee, creamer and sugar provided. The home is centrally located and can easily access almost any part of the city in 10-15 minutes. Nearby there are many attractions as well. The Freret St corridor is loaded with bars, restaurants and shops. That is just a few blocks away. Oschner Baptist Hospital is just a block away. There is a streetcar line that is walking distance to the property that can take you further uptown or directly to the French Quarter and downtown areas as well. Magazine Street is additionally close by and offers additional attractions similar to Freret Street. Very comfortable and close to our family and great food, shopping and Audubon Park. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable, the front sitting room and back porch are great places to sit and visit, and the pickleball court was fun!

Great outdoor space. The property manager was very communicative. I appreciated the thought that went into adding the bathroom shelves, the luggage stands, etc. The towels and sheets were all very white and clean. The property overall was clean. We would definitely stay there again.

Overall, we had a great stay! For reference, we had six people in our group. We only had two small issues, and the owner addressed both quickly and professionally - his communication was excellent throughout. The inside of the home was clean, neat, and well-maintained. This property is a duplex; the rental is on the left side, and a permanent tenant occupies the right. The back porch and yard are shared spaces. The layout is a shotgun style - you enter through the living room, then pass through a bedroom with a queen and bunk bed, followed by another bedroom with a queen bed. From there, you access the kitchen, and the single bathroom is located off the kitchen. There's also a convenient half bath on the back porch. The neighborhood itself is run down and unkept, but we never felt unsafe during our stay. This rental is truly a diamond in the rough - the location is convenient to everything. Insider tip: When entering the bedroom from the kitchen, watch your toes! The bed frame juts slightly into the walkway, and we had several stubbed toes before learning to sidestep it.

First of all, the home was immaculately clean. Secondly, perfectly apportioned. Thirdly, absolutely perfect mid point location between the French Quarter and Uptown. The kids loved the bunk beds. We loved the screened in porch with ceiling fans. The home is walking distance to a grocery store. We found it to be very quiet (which is not always the case in NOLA). The host is lovely and answers very quickly. We will definitely return.

It made me want to provide that for other visitors! I know how much it means to have a great space to stay while in town, and I hope to add that to your experience, and give you peace of mind with one element of your vacation.

Why they chose this property

This property is located in the Uptown corridor of New Orleans. It is a block to Oschner Baptist Hospital, just a few blocks to the Freret St Corridor, walking distance to the Streetcar line on Saint Charles, near the Tulane University Campus and just a bit further to the Magazine Street Corridor. The home is extremely centrally located and is only 10-15 minutes drive to almost any part of the city. Between the nearby, and easily accessible areas of the city, this home offers a great retreat for anyone looking to experience all that NOLA has to offer!

What makes this property unique

The screened in porch and the Pickleball court in the backyard are both features that are hyper unique to the area, and make the guest experience truly one of a kind. The screened in porch has Bluetooth speakers that are easily paired via phone or device. It is incredibly relaxing to sit back and enjoy some coffee in a shaded area with your favorite music on. There are also two televisions on the screened in porch so you'll always be able to catch a game or show of interest. There is a net covering on the Pickleball court in case of any wild shots. There is additionally an outdoor shower for guest use if it gets a little too hot and sweaty out on the Pickleball Court.
