About Vacasa, OR - Central Oregon Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wifes familys summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Location great- home not so much. It's in desperate need of an update. Needs lighting! Deck was in poor condition, bedroom furniture too.
The owner has plans to start upgrades to the home at the end of summer. We look forward to sharing the changes with our guests!
Solid Sunriver property
Hot tub. Space for 2 families of 4 if the kids can all bunk together. Very nice kitchen/washer/dryer. SHARC passes. Close to town/village. Well stocked with towels, blankets, dishes etc.
A/C does not work. Patio furniture needs updating. Downstairs queen beds are uncomfortable (Very hard, and I like a firm mattress!). Could use grill utensils.
Our first whole family vacation
Our family had a wonderful week. We borrowed some bicycles from pole house 19. You may want to bring your own bicycle, the paths are wonderful. The resort is very big and you might not have such sharing neighbors. Pole house 19 had a garage with bicycles to use. The house is not air-conditioned, you may want to bring a fan for summer stays.
Decent, but needs more TLC
This is a cozy unit and really lends itself well to a pair of families (two couples in main rooms; kids in bunks). Some nice updates to the kitchen. A really useful bonus room on second level to contain the kids (my boys set up their Wii on the TV unit and were happy as clams). Inviting lounge room. So what's not to like? The updates don't extend to the bathrooms and bedrooms. Not such a big deal, but they are needed. The kitchen lacks some key items, such as a colander and some other cooking utensils. An electric griddle would be nice, as would a more "serious" frying pan. Overall, however, we were contented guests and enjoyed the coziness of the place. Small but with spaces for people to spread out.
The owner will be personally visiting the home in September to give it some updates. We look forward to sharing these improvements with our guests!
Our family has been vacationing in Sun River since the late 70's. I have never been disappointed with a rental property or written a negative review. This, however, will always stand out as a huge disappointment. The pictures of the property were a complete misrepresentation of what we found upon arrival. We were there along with our 2 daughters and grandchildren and all were shocked at the shabby, low quality rental. It was not even close to the quality of our prior rental experiences. We expressed our disappointment and dissatisfaction only to be offered a 15 % discount. Per the description and photos, I was prepared to spend the $340.00 per night as it was a holiday but so upset at what we found upon arrival. I would never had rented this property if I had been truly informed of the condition of the house. At this point, unless there is a substantial refund, I am planning on sharing this review on social media via Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter as I would feel badly for any other family renting this property. This vacation will always be remembered as the sub-par, low quality rental that was very disappointing. #vacasa #21polehouselane
Our family has been vacationing in Sun River for 40+ years and this is the first disappointing rental property we have had. The pictures misrepresented the home and at a very high price per night, we definitely would not have rented this home. The place was shabby, run-down, cluttered with broken household items, broken blinds, broken fans, screen doors falling off the runners, rotton deck with exposed nails popping through, splintered, rotton deck railing, boards falling out of hot tub enclosure, faulty electrical outlets, frayed kitchen appliance with exposed wiring, microwave hood fell and hit the floor being held up with duct tape which could have fallen on one of our grandchildren, dirty deck chairs, broken railing on upstairs top bunk, and the list could go on. I have never written a bad review but at this point, I will be posting this review on social media as I would hope no other family would have such a disappointing rental experience that does not come close to the quality of other rentals we have had in Sun River. We have pictures that show what was described. In the future, I will go through other realty companies we have used previously as they stand behind their rental properties. We were offered an obligatory 15% discount which does not come close to what I would expect for such a negative experience.
