Imagine going to sleep with the sound of the ocean, waking up to the beautiful views then walking out your front door with your coffee in hand and feeling the soft sand in between your bare feet. It's absolute heaven and you won't want to go back home!
This newly built homes provides a relaxed and modern luxurious feel. You'll enjoy the very new and comfortable mattresses. This 2bedroom unit has an open floor concept. It features a full-kitchen, full-bath, 1queen-size bed in one room, the other room has a twin over full bunk bed. This beach front second floor unit (11A first floor) has two parking spaces under the home (if small cars) or one under the home and the other around the corner. This also includes an outdoor dinning table with a large umbrella, outdoor shower for rinsing off and propane weber grill. It has wall a/c and heating units also called split system units.
Its centrally and conveniently located with many family-oriented activities such as boating, fishing, kayaking, sand castle building and crabbing. Bring along your bikes and scooters to experience the breathtaking views of the Connecticut shore. You can take nice walks along the beach as well as visit beach front restaurant and bar with live music only 2 blocks away. You'll also enjoy beach store, ice cream shops all within walking distance.
For children, there is a carousal within walking distance, movies on the beach on weekend nights, and sand castle contests. Kayaking and boat rentals are nearby. Perfect for a summer getaway, the picturesque Old Colony Beach is a short distance from the historic Lyme Street, the Griswold Museum and Mystic Seaport, Casinos. and my favorite outlet shopping malls!

Can’t beat the location

Beautiful location right on the beach. The neighborhood is a private freindly community. The rooms are clean and bright with a nice breeze coming off the ocean. The rental process was simple.Good communication with the host.

Excellent view and beach access. The place is a little smaller than i though. But it was clean. Had a good time. Would go back.Now I know what to expect.

No secrets. The square footage is posted on the website and description of the home set slightly back. They are connected with a connecting staircase so a full phone needs to be shown. Beachfront property will fill beach view is expensive and always smaller than the average rental. Glad you enjoyed your stay.

Beachfront Beauty

The beachfront location is amazing. The unit is small but perfect for a couple, and you can't beat the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach and the moonlight dancing on the water at night.

great location

The location was wonderful. Beach was fantastic! Great views. Wish there had been a bit more areas to hang clothes and maybe some shelving in the bathroom. Other than that we did enjoy our stay.

Family vacation

Family vacation. Check in was easy, property looked just like the listing and very clean. Great location, beautiful views and lots of activities for teens and young children to do in the area. We would definitely return.

Spring beach getaway

The house is perfect for a quick getaway. Really clean! Could use some bedside tables, a coffee table and maybe one more comfy chair in the living room. We found the location to be perfect, views are second to none! The host was so responsive!!

Gorgeous spot!

The place was gorgeous - a full wall of windows looks out onto the beach. Walk right down the steps and onto the sand. Lots of good food nearby or stay in and cook for yourself. Host is super helpful.Note- you’ll need to pack your own sheets, towels, and toilet paper. Thank you, Noemi.

New Beach House

This new modern home is located right on the beach. It was small and cozy with enough space for a family of four. We would definitely stay here in the future. We enjoyed the views and the ability to just walk the beach in the morning. The beach is cleaned everyday and there are restaurants and ice cream shops within walking distance. The owner was great and she responded to all questions or concerns immediately. Highly recommend.

Great Beach Locale

Fantastic location on the beach. In the pictures, the unit is actually toward the back not the larger in the front. The property is modern and very clean. Also, the outdoor shower is nice but open so swimsuit is needed and it can be awkward if people from the other unit (or even the beach) are watching you shower…. The unit also has minimal hanging space for swimsuits and towels. Overall a great visit though!

The photo forThe rental is misleading. The house is not for rent. The tiny condos in the back of the main house are the rentals. This should be very clear and the picture should be changed to show the condo not be main house. We were disappointed upon arrival. The condo rental is very small. Parking is extremely tight. Overall we had a good trip. Direct access to the beach is a plus. You’re paying for beachfront. We rent often in Old Lyme and love the little neighborhoods of old colony, hawks nest and Miami Beach. This condo should not be advertised as the main house rental.

Accommodations we’re missing

No closet space within rental. Contacted owner about water temperature wasn’t getting hot for shower, never had it adjusted. No privacy on widows facing neighbors house. Location was extraordinary beautiful on the beach.

I did send someone the next day to increase the water temperature and bring out the grill for you. I also followed up the next day to make sure it was warm enough for you. I wish you would have let me know it wasn’t high enough. I would have sent them back. My goal is to make you completely comfortable. In addition, all rooms have shades.

Great Property

The property is clean and well cared for. I initially did not realize the description stated linens were not included. I contacted the owner as I re-read the listing and discovered it did in fact state towels and linens were not included. The owner let me know that not including linens/towels kept the price lower and that she could include them for an additional fee. We made the adjustment on our side. The property is as the pictures showed. Modern, clean, and in an amazing location. We would rent this property again.

Terrific place, wonderful getaway!

Loved this place! Right on the beach, and within walking distance to a good restaurant. New construction, very comfortable, clean, and modern. We were in unit 11A, on the 'first' floor. Perfect for a week(end) getaway for two. Each room has its own thermostat, so you only heat/cool the rooms you need to. Single bathroom with very good shower. Nice kitchen, cozy eating area, comfy couch & beds. Good view of the water.Terrific hostess! Easy to contact, very friendly, super responsive (had the broken Keurig replaced within an hour or two!). It's obvious she wants her guests to enjoy their visit.So nice to just walk out the door and be on the beach, even in chilly April. Found a few beach treasures, met lots of nice people, and mostly just relaxed. We'll be back, maybe when the weather warms up!

Accurate description on listing but two issues negatively impacted our stay: - front door has a glass panel, meaning people staying in the unit next door can see into the living room as they come and go. Living room is the largest area in the unit so you’re on display whether you’re watching tv, eating, or just hanging on the couch. - Interior doors don’t lock. Primarily a concern with the bathroom, if you have a toddler on the loose (as we do) or have multiple adults staying. Again, makes a big difference in such close quarters.

Thank you for the suggestion. I did add a privacy tinted glass on the front door panel to allow light and privacy. The living room window does have shades for privacy. Most people enjoy the views and keep them open.thank you for your stay.

Lovely stay, some thoughts

We had a very positive late-season stay at Noemi's loft with our daughter. We enjoyed playing in the sand and absorbing the ocean sounds and views from the well located home. Note that even the "first floor" unit is elevated above ground-level and therefore offers a raised perspective of the ocean. Some general thoughts - it is very clearly listed that linens including blanket should be brought by the user (separately available for a fee), along wiht TP / PT, soap, trash bags and sponge. Being local we were able to bring these but plan ahead if you're not local. This is a little atypical relative to prior experiences, but well communicated. (these items including linens were 1/2 of our packing list by volume) - We experienced some footfall noise from the upstairs neighbor with teenage children. - would recommend frosted peel and stick on the entry door. with the upstairs neighbor coming and going on a shared circulatory path, there is clear view into the living area of the unit by passersby. All in all, the unit is a well located, contemporary home perfectly sited on a quiet beach - it's an excellent weekend getaway within short driving distance to many local attractions.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour. Le site est vraiment super, la vue imprenable et la plage magnifique. Comme mentionné par les autres visiteurs les chambres sont très petites. La cuisine est bien équipée et les consignes de l’hôte nous ont permis de nous ajuster pour la literie et autres objets à apporter. Il y a peu d’espace de rangement et/ou d’endroit pour soit faire sécher les serviettes ou accrocher notre linge. Un sèche cheveux aurait été apprécié C’est très tranquille et nous nous sommes reposés Vraiment un endroit à recommander
