Downtown Coeur D' Alene Turn of the Century Home

The Benson House is just a few blocks from the heart of town, the beach, and City Park. One of the highlights of this house is it's location. It is just 2 blocks from the up and coming Midtown, and only 6 blocks from the vibrant downtown. Midtown as great restaurants and collectable shops. the Benson House is a perfect place to stay for all the summer activities and events that Coeur d' Alene offers. Downtown has 2 great parks, both with in walking distance as well. McEuen Park has a pavilion, ball park, and is adjacent to Tubbs hill with great hiking trails. It also has a walk up bar and intermittent music in the park. The City Park is on the Beach, plus it has weekly music in the summer time.

This centennial home was built in 1906 and has been completely restored, keeping many of the original features. It has been updated with all the modern amenities, including WiFi, and a smart tv.

The wrap around porch is especially charming with cushioned wicker furniture creating a relaxing "step back in time" feel. The huge fenced backyard has a large deck with gas grill, table and chairs. A large back yard provides plenty of room for games. Lawn games provided include: ladderball, and horse shoes. This park like setting makes the Benson House an excellent location for a family gathering or small group.


The second floor offers a large bedroom with a king-size bed. A second bedroom which has a queen-size bed, and a third bedroom with lots of character offers a twin-sze bed. The bathroom features a claw foot tub and and connecting shower.

The main floor has a nice-size living room and large dining room that seats 6 +. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities. The fourth bedroom, located on this floor, offers a double bed with an adjoining bathroom.

LOCATION IS EVERYTHING: From the Benson House, you can walk to any number of coffee shops, restaurants, clubs, art galleries, antique stores and shopping boutiques. The beach, with all the boat rental and water sport activities, is just a short walk from the house.

Minutes away from world famous golf courses, great fishing, bike and hiking trails, and horseback riding. Within a short distance you can ride the worlds longest gondola at Silver Mountain, enjoy Silverwood theme park, visit the Coueur d' Alene Casino, or go water rafting.

THINKING OF A WINTER GET-AWAY? Ask about our non-holiday off season specials. You'll find this house to be a cozy winter retreat. Silver Mountain Ski Resort is less than an hour's drive, and Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort is an hour and a half drive. The Thanksgiving FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS is spectacular, drawing people from all over the northwest. Downtown Coeur'd Alene has all the beauty and charm of a scene from Currier & Ives over the Christmas Holiday Season.
