The house is great for a family with a great master bedroom, large screen tv and dinner table. We used the hottib and sauna every day. The owners constantly checked in with me and were very helpful. I would definitely go back.

Couldn't be better! Outstanding! We had our family holiday ski trip from Dec 25-29th,2025. The amenities were second to none. The hot tub, sauna and fire pit made the winter warm! The house was clean comfortable and very cozy. The kitchen was extremely well appointed (sharp knives!). The staples available (coffee, tea, oil, spices etc.) were high quality and the best I've ever experienced in a short term rental. The beds and bedding were very comfortable! Most immortality the hosts were very attentive in all their effort leading up to and throughout our stay. Their preparations and thoughtful decor were amazing, making this home a magical place! Can't wait to stay again!

About the host

Hosted by Jane and Jiten

Host profile image
Jane grew up spending summers in the woods of Northern Minnesota, and Jiten is a Stratton ski devotee. Parents of a 7 and 4-year-old, we built this space to be the perfect family retreat.

Why they chose this property

Stratton Ski Haus is a Nordic A-Frame designed for gathering, slowing down, and enjoying Vermont’s forests in every season. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring the woods inside, creating a peaceful setting for morning coffee, family meals, and evenings by the fireplace.

After a day outdoors—whether skiing at nearby Stratton, hiking forest trails, exploring waterfalls, or visiting the shops and cafés of Manchester—come home to unwind in the sauna and hot tub surrounded by trees. The house is equally suited for active getaways and relaxed weekends filled with board games, reading, and long conversations.

With space for up to 10 guests, including two king bedrooms, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room for kids or groups, the house is built for family trips, friends’ weekends, and multi-generation gatherings. High-speed WiFi and a standing-desk workspace with forest views also make it easy to mix remote work with time in nature.

Located just 13 minutes from Stratton Mountain and about 30 minutes from Manchester, Stratton Ski Haus offers easy access to outdoor adventure, scenic drives, and classic Vermont charm—while still feeling tucked away in the quiet of the forest.
