🌲Welcome to Explorer’s Retreat! Nestled in the heart of Ashford, Washington and just minutes from Mount Rainier National Park, this inviting home offers the perfect blend of adventure, comfort, and rustic elegance.

🏡 Designed in a warm craftsman style, Explorer’s Retreat features thoughtfully curated interiors that make it easy to unwind after a day of hiking, sightseeing, or exploring the mountain. Whether you’re here for a peaceful getaway or an outdoor-filled escape, this home serves as the ideal basecamp.

🛏️ Step inside to a comfortable and functional layout with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The primary suite features a king-size bed and a private attached full bathroom. The second bedroom offers two twin beds, and the third bedroom includes a cozy queen bed. In the living room, a traditional sofa plus a futon couch provide additional sleeping space for up to two guests, comfortably accommodating up to eight guests total.

🔥 Outside, enjoy the best of Pacific Northwest evenings with a brand new hot tub, perfect for soaking under the stars after a day in the park. Gather around the outdoor fire pit for stories, s’mores, and cozy nights surrounded by nature.

Very nice place. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Close to both Mt Rainier and the town of Ashford. We had 6 in our group and never felt crowded or cramped. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We spent the night at this cabin to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday. The teens loved the hot-tub and s’mores around the fire pit. The house was well set up. We had everything we needed. The house was clean and decorated thoughtfully. The living room offered a comfortable place for the kids to lounge and watch TV. The Nintendo game set up was a hit!

The cabin was fantastic. It was better than the pictures described. Beds were very comfortable; everything was clean and tidy. Only drawback was we couldn't get the fireplace to come on, and the coffee maker could have been cleaned better. Lots of Peace and Quiet. Overall, the house met all our needs and then some! I will definitely stay again.

Unfortunately, this guest did not actually stay at our cabin. Due to a VRBO reservation system error, the property was double booked and we had to ask for the reservation to be canceled before check-in. While we understand the frustration this caused, the guest did not experience the cabin, amenities, or stay itself. We are currently working with VRBO regarding the removal of this review, as it does not reflect an actual guest stay.
