Your safety is our priority! Enjoy!

Our hot tub is designed for simple, intuitive operation! The main control panel is your command center.

1/ Remove the Cover:
- Unfasten all latches around the hot tub.
- Using the attached cover lifter (the bar at the back of the tub), carefully slide the cover off and rest it securely behind the hot tub. Ensure it is stable and won't fall back onto the tub or get damaged.

2/ Check Temperature:
- The hot tub is pre-set to a comfortable temperature (typically 100-102°F or 38-39°C).
- To Adjust Temperature (if needed): On the main control panel, press the ▲ (Up Arrow) or ▼ (Down Arrow) hard buttons to raise or lower the set temperature. Please do not set the temperature above 104°F (40°C).

3/Activate Jets:
- Press the JETS hard button (usually marked with a water jet icon) to turn on the main jet pump. Press again to cycle through different jet speeds or turn them off.

4/ To Customize Massage:
- Diverter Valves: You'll see large, round dials on the hot tub rim near some of the seats. - Rotate these dials to divert water flow to different jet groups, customizing your massage experience.
- Air Control Knobs: Small, circular knobs also on the rim can be twisted to introduce air bubbles into the jets, providing a more invigorating, bubbly massage.

5/ Control Lights:
- Press the LIGHTS hard button (usually marked with a light bulb icon) to turn the hot tub's internal lights on or off.
- Pressing the LIGHTS button multiple times will cycle through various colors or light modes.

Enjoy Your Soak!

6/ After Your Soak (VERY IMPORTANT):
- Turn off all jets and lights.
- Carefully pull the hot tub cover back over the tub using the cover lifter.
- Secure all latches around the hot tub. This is essential for safety, keeping the water clean, and maintaining temperature.

You can gather around the indoor fireplace for a cozy atmosphere.
Here are the fireplace operating instructions:

1. Locate the fireplace key on the mantel / shelf below the TV.
2. Turn on the gas knob (lower left).
3. Wait 5 minutes.
4. Flip the fireplace switch (upper right). It will flicker for about 30-60 seconds before igniting.
5. To end use: Turn the switch off. Immediately turn off the gas knob (lower left) as well – this is essential for safety. Return the key to the mantel below the TV.

Other things to note:
Power Outages
Please be aware that power outages are not uncommon in mountain areas like Ashford, particularly during heavy rain, wind, or winter storms. We want you to be prepared and comfortable if this happens during your stay.

The house is equipped with a backup battery system that provides power for approximately 3 hours under heavy usage and can last up to 12 hours with energy conservation measures.

If there is a power outage during your stay, I will notify you as soon as possible and provide any relevant updates I receive.

To help prolong the backup power and stay comfortable during an outage, we recommend the following:

1. Minimize the use of high-energy-consuming appliances such as the microwave or toaster oven.
2. Instead, utilize the gas-powered stovetop or the gas grill for cooking needs.
3. Turn down the thermostats and use the gas fireplace for heating (please refer to the fireplace operation instructions above).
4. For lighting and charging your devices, battery-powered lamps with phone charging ports are conveniently located in the right-side cabinet under the kitchen island.
5. While we can't prevent outages, these provisions are in place to ensure your comfort and safety should one occur.

We hope you have a wonderful stay and make lasting memories at our mountain view cabin!

Amazing

Located in the heart of nature, the cabin was surrounded by trees, and total peace and quiet. It had everything we needed: a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed with soft linens and blankets. Coffee on the porch each morning was the best..The communication with the host was great and easy Most recommended!

Not long enough

This cabin was perfect- gorgeous, spacious, clean, super close to the national park entrance and had everything we could have asked for. It smelled brand new! We enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace, and delicious coffee bar. Everything was in excellent condition, and the host communication was outstanding. We only wish we had more than 1 night to stay.

A wonderful place to stay!

We love to travel and because there are four of us, we frequently use VRBO. I would rank this lovely cabin near Mt Rainier at the top. The owner must also be a traveler because they thought of everything, from a hot cup of coffee in the morning to a place to unload your suitcases when you get there. There is not a ton to do nearby (once you've seen the mountain), but there is a firepit stocked with wood, a hot tub, and games here.We were disappointed that we hadn't booked another night. We would definitely stay again. We also enjoyed our himalayan food and marionberry pie at a nearby restaurant.

New, Clean, and Quiet...

Beautiful new house not far from the national park entrance. Very quiet and serene area away from the masses. Everything you need to setup a base camp for days of Rainier hiking...
