Sunrise at the Beach | Luxury Oceanfront Escape
🌅 Oceanfront luxury on St. Augustine barrier island! Private beach access, 3 decks, ocean & Intracoastal views, wildlife, and steps from the sand. 🏖✨
When you imagine your most perfect vacation, does it include white sand beaches? Maybe you see birds wheeling in the sky above you and hear the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. If your perfect vacation includes all of the above, welcome to Sunrise at the Beach. This luxurious beachfront home is on a barrier island and is perfectly situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Whether you look east toward the ocean or west toward the Intracoastal, you’ll have not only incredible water views but you can also see some amazing wildlife such as turtles who make their nests in the sand and brown bunnies who make their home in the protected dunes. Be on the lookout for wading birds such as white egrets, herons, and even roseate spoonbills looking for food. On the beach, you can see little sand-pipers skittering about searching for food.
Outdoor Oasis
Step outside from the bunkbed room and you’ll find a comfortable sitting area with one couch, two chairs, and a coffee table. Catch up with friends and family, drink your morning cup of coffee or hot tea, and listen to the sounds of nature all around you. In addition, you’ll find four sun loungers along the east side of the house facing the ocean. On the upper level, there’s a glass - top dining table where you can enjoy a romantic dinner and watch the beautiful sunset over the Intracoastal. A ramp from the back patio is connected to your private boardwalk over the protected dunes and leads to the pristine, white sand beaches. Be sure to grab the beach chairs from the garage before you head out. If your perfect vacation includes grilling out, there’s a propane grill in the garage. We do not provide propane but you can pick up propane at most grocery stores. Boating enthusiasts know BYOB means Bring Your Own Boat. There’s even a dedicated parking space for your boat and a boat ramp less than a mile away.
Indoor Luxury
A grand staircase greets you when you open the front door. For those who don’t want to take the stairs, there’s a wood-paneled elevator. Upstairs, you’ll find the main living area featuring an ocean view and comfortable furniture. A well-equipped, spacious kitchen includes plenty of stock pots for those who love a Low Country Boil. The picnic – style table is perfect for great food and memories that’ll last a lifetime. Feeling competitive? Facing the Intracoastal, you’ll find a round game table with two unique tops. Grab the poker top and ante up. Or, if you prefer, use the bumper pool top and call your shots. Prefer a movie night? Boy are you in luck. A home movie theater featuring a 60” TV and four oversized recliners elevate movie night to a whole new level.
Lullaby and Goodnight…
Sunrise on the Beach boasts four bedrooms each with their own ensuite bath. On the first level, a spacious room with two bunkbed units each with a queen bed. In the ensuite bath, you’ll find a rain shower and four baskets for each person’s dop kit. Upstairs, you’ll find three additional ensuite bedrooms. The primary bedroom is oceanfront and has not one but two full ensuite baths. One of the guest bedrooms features a queen bed and breath-taking views of the ocean while the other boasts incredible views of the Intracoastal.
History Awaits…
Just 20 minutes away is the oldest city in the United States. Founded in 1565, St. Augustine has many fascinating historic buildings such as the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse, the Old Drug Store, and the Oldest House. Take a tour of Flagler College and you’ll see one of the largest collections of stained glass made by Louis Comfort Tiffany in its cafeteria. A pedestrian mall, St. George Street, features lots of delicious restaurants, ice cream parlors, shops, and more. As you explore downtown, be sure to wander down the cobblestoned streets where you’ll see coquina that was used to build the walls that line the street. This unique material was created through hundreds of thousands of years of pressure that compacts seashells and forms coquina. It was mined from the barrier island and it played a huge role in St. Augustine’s history. You can tour the Castillo de San Marcos and learn why this fort was never captured by an enemy army.
