***This cabin has stairs both to enter and to reach the sleeping spaces. All beds are located upstairs. It may not be suitable for young children or guests with limited mobility. Please see photo of staircase. Air mattress is also available.
Please note: the cabin is located a long drive from town. We recommend stocking up on groceries, gas, and any essentials before you head our way.
A quick note about directions: if you’re coming in from Highway 149, your GPS might try to take you on Alpine Road as a shortcut. While it looks tempting, Alpine Road is a very rough, narrow dirt road—not great for standard cars or sedans, and it can make for a stressful drive. The same goes for CR 26, which is also dirt.
Our tip: stick with US Highway 50 to Alpine Plateau Rd (CR687), which will bring you right to Spruce Road. It’s the easiest and smoothest way in, no matter what kind of vehicle you’re driving.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.
