Walk less than five blocks to the beach or take some time to explore the neighborhood, where you can visit the A.L. Lewis Museum to learn about the community's rich African-American heritage and visit 'NaNa', the state's tallest dunes system. A scenic cruise up A1A will take you past some great bars and seafood restaurants on its way to popular Main Beach Park (7.6 mi.). For a fun day trip, you can take the ferry out of Fernandina Beach (8.2 mi.) to visit the historic riverside city of St. Mary's, Georgia.
