6/10 Okay

Positives: Great if you want to be near shopping and restaurants as long as you don’t mind noise and people and cars everywhere. Cons: Unit is on the third floor which makes the garage access interesting.. you need to go down one level and then take the garage elevator ( you need a fob) to the garage. You also need the fob to get your car into the garage ( only one space) other guests will have to park on the street (good luck) or pay 10 a night for overnight parking ( we knew none of this until the day we checked in). Warning- this property is on an older PG&E grid- power outages are a thing- especially during storms. We were there 5 days and had two power outages- one lasted 6 hours. Make sure to get power outage protocol from the owner/host. There’s a fire door that shuts off access to the garage bridge inside so you have to take the stairs all the way to the ground floor and access the garage from the outside. You can’t get into the BUILDING if the power is off without a special key- that we didn’t have. I had to ask for check-in instructions twice. When we arrived at our check in time, they were still cleaning. We questioned whether they actually changed the sheets on our bed ( gross). What is needed: FlashlightsBath mats ( dangerous on the tile floors)More than 6 scratchy towels and extra linensA non-stained mattress (gross) maybe invest in a waterproof mattress protectorAdd a TV in at least one bedroom (master)House rules/instructions
