The Pools vacation rentals

If you want that once in a lifetime family/friends vacation book this place. You won't be disappointed! It is not by all of the downtown action if you want that. We did rent a vehicle. The house is about 50 mins away. However it is a 5 min. walk to StarFish Point. 5 minute walk to Kaibo Kai Beach/Restaurant/Cafe. 5 minute drive to Rum Point (which I highly recommend)We did the Bioluminescent Tour out of Rum Point and it was the Best excursion ever. We drove to 7 mile Beach one day.. it was beautiful there! You will be so glad you did it. The house is absolutely gorgeous. The pool was fabulous! Our favorite hangout! The pier/pavillion was a great place to relax out over the water! Had a great time kayaking too!Soo many outside areas to sit! The kitchen was fully stocked. Everything was like brand new and so organized and clean. They even have a drawer filled with spices for cooking! The views are AMAZING! Marva the house manager is awesome! The owners are great and very responsive to your needs! The pictures don't lie.. even more beautiful in person. Celebrated our Daughters Birthday/Mother's Day/hubby's Retirement and even better our daughter got engaged out on the pier! This place is Paradise! You won't even want to leave it!!

Everything that you could want in a rental and more. Beautiful view of the sunrise from the lanai, beach and tide pool just steps from the unit. Waves could be a little rough with a strong onshore breeze and the boat traffic on weekends. Don’t forget to wear your guppies as there are some sharp rocks/coral going into water. Saw some starfish right out front. Nice pool with hot tub. Full kitchen was stocked with all utensils and Appliances that you would need. Bathrooms were fully stocked with extra towels and toiletries. Mattresses and pillows were extremely comfortable. All rooms had ceiling fans, and the a/c was excellent when needed. The entire unit was impeccably clean. You will need a rental car to get out to rum point (45min) drive and local restaurants on the east end. Pick up your groceries at Foster’s or Hurleys on the way out past the airport as there are no large supermarkets or liquor stores out on the point. The Kaibo restaurant/ tiki bar next-door (3min) walk is a nice convenience. (Not a kid friendly menu). We used the Kaibo ferry next-door to take us to cabana Bay and Georgetown areas.(20min) ride. Easy instructions for check-in and communication with owner was instant if needed. Thank you Nikki for everything. Everything was a++ and the only negative was that we didn’t stay longer. 6 day stay. We loved our stay. The place was super clean, well appointed, designed perfectly, and easy to live in. The host has put a ton of thought into each piece in this apartment. Noise machine, chargers, JBL, towels, cooking utensils,etc. The pool was great heated for morning and night time relaxing. We ate outside often and enjoyed wine and coffee on the patio. We used the kayaks to go to Star Fish Point. The paddle board was difficult to navigate. The bikes were tough to peddle and steer. We used them a few times up To Rum Point, but decided to walk because they were so uncomfortable to use. We used the snorkel gear and pool floats. We had Chrisolms grocery deliver. Italian dinner delivery. Ate at Kiabo and enjoyed the atmosphere. We did not get to see the bioluminescence because it was full moon.

We have vacationed in the caymans numerous times over the years. We fell in love with this location, especially Tristan and Chantelle’s home. Its the only place for us now. They are the best hosts we’ve ever had. We feel at home here. The views, the water, star fish and beautiful sunrise and sunsets are a wonder to behold! We plan on coming back soon and often!

50 ft from water - walking distance from Starfish Point, Rum Point, Kaibo Kai, and a beautiful neighborhood. Our condo had literally EVERYTHING we needed and wanted in a honeymoon stay. Paddle board, snorkel gear, water toys on the porch, and a new charcoal grill we used 4 times! Spectacular sunrises /sunsets and nice clean pool/hot tub. Condo was CLEAN and well appointed. We LOVED it and the manager was quite attentive and available for questions! We were away from all the big hotels and cruise crowds but had an absolute blast snorkeling every day. Bed was restful at night and it’s set up for two couples or extra kids. Kitchen had laundry (bonus!) as well and two full bathrooms. Screened porch for dinner was perfect! We’ll be booking again!!

We booked this condo for our family of 6 adults, one teenager and one 5 year old. This home was PERFECT! Everything we could possibly need as far as utensils, toys, life jackets, kayak, etc. we had. Communication with Maureen was simple. Very easy process. This home is large with 3 large bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms which was a requirement for us so each family unit had their own. Off of one bedroom is a small area with built in bunk beds which work perfect for families.The North side is much more tranquil/away from the chaos of 7 mile beach! There is a restaurant/coffee shop/bar directly across the street that is open until 8 pm. There is also a pier there where you can catch the ferry over to 7 mile beach for ~$30/adult, ~$20/child round trip. You really need a vehicle if you plan to stay anywhere other than 7 mile area. This home is about a 50 min drive from the airport, but never felt like it took that long to driver there. Rum Point is right down the road - you can catch several excursions there - we did Stingray City and snorkle through RedSail. Very easy process. Hard to find anything to complain about with this rental! If I had to make a suggestion, I would add a lamp in the dining area by windows facing ocean. It would make it feel more homey than the recessed ceiling lighting. Not crucial, just a suggestion. I had groceries delivered from Fosters b4 arrival-they put cold items in fridge for me! Highly recommend this place!

We brought our two grown children, their spouses, and 5 grands to Grand Cayman for our retirement celebration. The main house is very comfortable with large open spaces. Bedrooms comfortable. Cottage was used for all the grandkids (ages 7, 11, 15, 19, 20). Large bunk room for the boys and the king room for the girls. Washer and dryer in this area was a plus. TV used for their Nintendo Switch games- lots of fun. Internet was fast and a good signal everywhere in both the cottage and the main house. We have one family member who is in a wheelchair. The main house the elevator was amazing and worked perfectly. The large shower, shower chair and beach wheelchair also made this vacation enjoyable and easy for our disabled guest. The pool lift worked well and was quite an unexpected blessing. The WC accessible dock was great. The view is so beautiful!! All the kids swam daily. Lots of cool sea life- puffer fish, yellow snapper, starfish, and colorful blue fish. We walked over to Kaibos and ate some meals and had grocery delivery, Charter boat picked us up at our dock and took us to visit Stingrays and the Reef. Perfect!! We loved this place! Hope to return soon!!

Condo was easy to find and parking was plentiful. Starfish Point is a very quiet part of the island even next to the Kaibo Yacht Club (condo is about 50 yards down the beach). While you could hear the music (especially the bass!), we never felt it was intrusive. It also led to some great "people watching" as people were ferried over from Seven Mile Beach for dinner at the Yacht club. The condo itself was very well equipped with dishes, pots and plenty of spices as well as extra food stuff such as coffee,btea, pasta of all sorts, oatmeal, popcorn, etc. A warning though, this is a sand, beach, water and relax area. There is no night life, activities, etc. available and limited restaurant choices without a car. For us, that is our kind of place and why we chose Starfish Point. Furniture was nice and beds comfortable. Wifi and TV are available and wifi extends out to the beach. There were lots of lounges and chairs available on the beach. There was no sargassum which was great. For beginning snorkelers (and advanced for the picture taking) there were hundreds of fish to see in about 3 feet of water about 10 yards from the condo so even kids could safely swim in an 'aquarium'. There are plenty of starfish to see!! I also saw a small stingray and a small barracuda. There is a large modern supermarket between the airport and the condo (Hurleys) and a small store (Chisholms) about 10 minutes from the condo. There is a very nice pool and spa available just a few feet away but not close enough to be bothered by activities in the pool. Communication with the owner and manager was easy and we experienced no problems in our two week stay. One caveat, bring mosquito repellent (but they also have a supply if you forget!) as there are times when they can be bad as with any place in the islands.
