About the property

1 Bedroom, Large 1 Bathroom, Quiet Location Near Grandview Beach

Tucked away among gorgeous homes in an incredible neighborhood, The Tree House is 600 sq feet, newly remodeled and beautifully decorated. This calming and peaceful guest home has one full bedroom with a new pillow-top queen-size bed, one full bathroom, a full-size kitchen (including full-size appliances), eat-in kitchen/dining area, family room with a high end fold out sofa, and a sunny deck. The Tree House is perched on the second floor in a neighborhood with single story homes, looking out among mature trees.

It comes fully furnished and has a new 47' smart TV with cable and Netflix, wireless internet access, and a fully equipped kitchen. For warmer summer days/nights we have a portable A/C unit in the living room (or move around as needed) to keep the Tree House cool.

It is very close to Grandview Beach, one of the many amazing Encinitas beaches which has good surfing, swimming and a lifeguard tower.

The home was featured December 2013 on the cover of Coastal San Diego Homes magazine, an insert in the San Diego Union Tribune.

Close proximity to many restaurants, wineries, downtown Encinitas, the beach and other local activities. We offer a 'Local's Guide to Encinitas' for our guests - hand produced by the owners.

If you prefer to explore, check out all the north county beaches including Ponto, Swami's, Cardiff and Seaside as well as the world famous Torrey Pines State Beach where you can hike also.

Del Mar Racetrack and La Costa Spa are within 5 to 15 minutes. Close to multiple hiking trails and some of the best bicycling in California. It is a half hour drive to the San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park and SeaWorld, and one hour to Disneyland.

The Guest house is privately situated above the main house. It has it’s own stairway access, is very private and quietly located at the end of a private driveway consisting of only 3 other homes.

clean, quiet, and convenient

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the treehouse for a weekend to attend a wedding. It was perfect. We could run in the morning and enjoy excellent coffee. The tacos at Fish 101 were divine. The sink became plugged and my amateur plumbing skills were insufficient. Although the owners couldn't repair it without a plumber, they immediately fixed it enough for our needs. The stay just couldn't have been better.

Perfect remodeled condo close to the beach

  • 5 of 5

This place has everything you would need. They even have shampoo and soap. It's newly remodeled and very comfortable. We loved our stay here and would love to come back. The host is very nice. We have 2 small children and were staying for 9 days, so she let us use her washer and dryer.

Immaculate, getaway spot you should not miss!!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I are frequent getaway travelers and have experienced the best and unfortunately some on the low end but Nicole offers up the Treehouse which is well furnished, immaculate clean and well appointed. and is an excellent communicator before, during the stay and beyond Perfect for couples seeking quiet and discerning ownership. we have let it be known we will return and encourage others to look no further if you seek the north San Diego for getaway time.

Great dining, beach and active town so do yourselves a favor and get on board!

Another great vacation at the Leucadia treehouse.

  • 5 of 5

Excellent well kept property in a great location. Situated in a quiet neighborhood close to beaches and restaurants the treehouse is a great place to stay for our family of 3. Nichole and family were away yet still contacted us when we checked in to make sure that all our needs were met. This is a very clean and well-maintained property with everything we need for a beach vacation including Wi-Fi for a teenager;) a parking spot close to the front door for loading and unloading and close to the surf / 101 strip with its shops and restaurants. If you don't have your own beach gear the treehouse has chairs, umbrella and various boogie boards etc. another nice feature is with it being on the 2nd story your able to enjoy the cross breezes through the unit with several fans to enjoy the fresh air. If you prefer there is also a portable AC unit that is a new addition since our last visit. Nice balcony to enjoy a coffee after an early morning surf at one of the nearby breaks.

Treehouse Bliss!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Treehouse. It was immaculate, and was appointed with everything you could possibly need in a vacation rental. We loved the off street parking spot, and Nichole and Brian were very welcoming, as well as their friends and neighbors in the area. Even with the unusual humidity, we did not need the portable air conditioner that is provided. With the fans and the windows open, we enjoyed great sleep in this quiet neighborhood. It's the perfect location for exploring all that northern San Diego county has to offer. Thank you for five wonderful days of vacation!
