Escape the everyday and experience the extraordinary when you make Oak Island your next vacation destination. The beach is within walking distance, your dream beach getaway awaits in the form of this cozy and comfortable home, conveniently located close to delightful attractions. Visit Oak Island Pier, Oak Island Lighthouse, and Franklin Square Park, all within a nine-mile radius.

Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior and a cozy atmosphere throughout the well-appointed living area. Relax and make yourself at home by resting on the plush furniture, indulging in a favorite movie on the large TV, or serving brunch on the patio. Prepare grand meals and beach picnic snacks in the eat-in kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances, ample cupboard room, and a formal dining table.

Comfortable beds in spacious rooms ensure that everyone will receive a wonderful night's rest from the day's adventures. Find the epitome of comfort in the main bedroom, which boasts a lovely en suite bathroom, a private entrance to the patio, and a crib for little guests. Beach cottage was very nice. Well kept and very comfortable. Beach access is close by. Will rent again

Nice house, convenient location.

This house was incredibly clean upon arrival. Having the towels and linens provided was a huge plus! The location was convenient, especially for our nightly ice cream run. The kitchen was decently stocked for our needs, though we did not actually cook. The only negative we experienced was the mattresses were very uncomfortable and the love seat cushions kept sliding off.

The property worked well for our needs in being close to another house. The house was good but not great. I didn't get an overall sense of clean in the house, the back door storm door wouldn't close and with the winds it kept slamming against the house. We really enjoyed Holden Beach, but I do not think we would rent this place again.

Beautiful comfy house. Perfect for paddlers.

We really enjoyed our time in this house across the street from the beach with a dock off the backyard. The 2 porches offered great views, but especially liked the unique feeling of the canal. All furnishings and decor felt new and cared for. Just a couple of blocks away from the general store. Will return!

Nice beach trip

Loved the location and the house is clean and nice. Only a few minor complaints. The grill was dirty and unusable. Couldn't turn on the ceiling fan in lower bedroom without having the light on too. Overall a good place to stay.

Great Canal Home

Decided to try Holden again this year for vacation and was not disappointed! Across the street from the ocean, on the canal and close to the beach access. Home was very well equipped for everything we needed. Also, VERY clean upon arrival. We have not had the same experience anywhere else that we rented for the week. Plenty of towels and clean bedding provided. Hurricane Ian showed up rudely during our vacation. We saw a Vacasa truck pull in to help secure loose items prior to the winds picking up. Almost a perfect vacation(no thanks to Ian)!

We have stayed at this house several times. The front porch is the selling point. It is a second row home w a view of the ocean and covered front porch. The kitchen was lacking in basic dishes and the freezer door would randomly open. The downstairs bedroom has a bed that squeaks every time you move so it was not a sleeping option for us. I think this house just needs some basic updates to make it a great second row home again.

Very nice home. The interior decorations felt like the beach. We loved the location. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We enjoyed the front porch for coffee, lunch, and gathering. The ocean can be seen and heard from the front porch and upstairs loft. It was nice setting on the back deck. The upstairs coffee table in the loft is not kid or adult. Several scratches, and bruises from walking by table. The floors under the couches, chairs, and beds were very dirty with dust, sand, and trash. The back yard had watermelon rind and trash. The freezer took 3 days to freeze ice. The last night of our stay the freezer decided to freeze food. The office was contacted 48 hours after check. Office was prompted to send maintenance. A loaner frige was never brought over on Tuesday when promised. I had asked 2 questions prior vacation that were not answered. We will stay here again.
