This renovated condo is in the fabulous Monterey Country Club with a desired East facing view. We are located in Palm Desert within a guard gated community. Situated on a golf course, the amenities include clubhouse, restaurant and bar, 36 pools and spas, and lush green landscaping. Monterey Country Club is located within a mile or two of McCallum Performing Arts, The River shops and restaurants, world famous El Paseo Drive with its upscale shops and restaurants, The Palm Desert Mall, numerous casinos, and Soak City.
The interior, boasting an upscale decor, has 2 bedrooms plus a loft, 2 bathrooms, and a dining area. Tile floors through the living areas and granite counter tops in the kitchen. Well stocked kitchen including a Keurig coffee maker. The living and dining areas along with the kitchen open to the serene golf course view with floor to ceiling windows. WiFi throughout and two large flat screen HD TV’s. Family room TV is equipped with a Blu Ray/DVD player and smart TV features (e.g., Netflix, Pandora, YouTube). Master bedroom has a king sized memory foam mattress. Guest and loft have queen size beds. There is also an attached two car garage with opener. Golf cart and two beach cruisers for your gentle use! Our pool is only steps away. Our furnished patio is large, has a gas bar-b-que, and plenty of room for entertaining. We have set up our rental to accommodate a lot of visitors with plenty of bedding and extra beds. Our goal is to make you feel at home! (Permit#35418)

My husband and I live in San Diego and love the desert! We decided to purchase a condo of our own in 2013 so we could make it as homey as our permanent home! We like the desert in the summer, so we decided to let others enjoy our little piece of heaven when we're not there!

Great Property and Great Host!
I don't know how we secured such a great place for Coachella. The property Manager Nancy made checking-in and checking-out sooo easy and accommodating! The place is truly amazing with views of the golf course in the backyard, golf cart to cruise around and 2 bikes! We didn't even need to use our cars! There are sooo many pools there too! This was such a great and spacious place to stay in. We absolutely loved our stay here.
A property worth a return
This condo has a great location. It is on a quiet street with a fantastic view of the mountains, golf course and 8th green (not in a landing zone). It is just a few condos down from the pool and fairly close to the front gate. We walked to the club house which is only 1/2 mile from condo.
The condo itself was clean and in great condition. The owners have done a fantastic job of providing everything you might need. We were there for two months and I brought my usual large bin of kitchen utensils and cooking items. I didn't need any of it as the kitchen had it all--best pots/pans and knives of anyplace we have stayed. They even had a nice supply of spices, teas and coffees. Loved the Keurig! Beds were comfortable and linens were also a winner. A golf cart and two bicycles were also provided. We really enjoyed taking the golf cart around MCC to look at open houses, etc.
Nancy and Eric (the owners) were a dream to work with and responded to our questions and requests almost immediately. I don't know how you could ask for more.
Yes, we have booked again for next year!

Terrific, spacious Monterey CC vacation home
We loved our 3 1/2 weeks stay at Serena Drive, with its East facing xl patio to capture the morning sun. The pool was close by, and having access to the golf cart came in handy once or twice. The best part was the huge sectional sofa which was comfortable and roomy enough for five adults when we had visitors. Eric and Nancy were quick to respond to any questions we had, and we really appreciated that we could bring our dog!
Absolutely perfect, an amazingly spacious comfortable condo in a beautiful setting
This was a beautiful vacation spot for our family, so comfortable, the condo had all the things you need and more. The people in the neighbourhood were so friendly and it’s so peaceful to relax either on the patio or by the pool. The pools were very nice temperatures, the grounds are immaculate. Eric and Nancy were so organized from the booking to the arrival to the good bye time. They made it effortless and stress free. We definitely would come back. Our family memories just grew deeper because of the special time here, thank you Eric and Nancy for the stay, we want to book again!

Meticulously clean, well stocked, extremely convenient
We stayed here in early Nov 2017 for a conference at the Omni resort. The most remarkable part of the house was that it really felt like we were at home rather than in a sterilized setting...ie, the everyday items were available to us and we did not have to run to the store every time we needed something, such as tape to mail a package. The wireless internet was fast and reliable. The owners left a very detailed binder that answered every question we had. They clearly put a lot of personal effort into this rental rather than just turning it over to a generic management company. We have stayed in many vacation rentals and this is truly a gem, simply for these reasons alone...however, everything else about this home was also top notch.
The house was perfectly clean. The kitchen was well stocked with many appliances and gadgets that are typically not available in rentals. They had an assortment of appliances and coffee makers and provided k-cups as well as filters. We love to cook, and this kitchen also had all the traditional spices we needed as well as oils, sugar, and many other ingredients. There were lots of serving platters and bar ware available for entertaining, on top of the normal place settings. They also had paper products (plates, cups, napkins, foils, plastic wrap, baggies, etc.) This is generally unexpected in vacation rentals, but sincerely appreciated. We enjoyed eating many of our meals on the patio by the golf course. The lighted umbrella, combined with some of their candles, made it feel magical after dark.
The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was extremely quiet. Neighbors were quiet but friendly. The laundry area was stocked with laundry soap and cleaning supplies. They had high quality towels and extra pillows and linens. The garage was stocked with a tool box, a cooler, pool items, camp-type chairs, etc. They even had a golf cart available for our use.
We enjoyed the hot tub (very hot with strong jets) and pool (unheated) which were about a one minute walk from the house. The water was very clean and the area was well maintained. We were the only ones in it every time we went so it felt private.
The location was perfect. Bicycles (with locks) were provided and we were able to ride to the Omni in less than10 minutes through a quiet neighborhood on safe streets. Incidentally, the scenery on the way was a pleasant surprise--horse farms in the middle of a very upscale neighborhood.
Our property is in the middle of everything you could want from the desert! Great shopping, dining, hiking, biking.... Whatever you need is most likely located within a 1 mile radius. We believe this is the best location in the desert!
Additional information about rental rates
Rates above do not include sales tax (permit #35418). Pet deposit will be required. Monthly rentals are not taxed. You can choose to pay a refundable deposit OR use the Home Away Plan where you pay $69 for $3000 in coverage. If you choose to pay for the Home Away Plan, there would be no security deposit collected. Summer rentals are subject to a fee for excessive energy use.
