This newly furnished condo is bright, light, and faces toward the ocean.
A newly redone condo is on the front of the building, with extra windows and easy access to the beach. Just inside the front gate, make a right and it is the first one on the right. This is a corner unit with an extra large balcony that wraps from the front and around the more private side of the building.
Go up to the fourth floor to enjoy the pool and hot tub that looks out over the ocean. You can also use the 2 pools that are oceanside at Seacrest just across the street.
inside the condo, the furnishings are all new in July of 2013. Professionally and tastefully done design work includes a king bedroom and a second bedroom with 2 extra long twin beds. A sofa also pulls out in the living area. Each bedroom has its own bath. The kitchen is fully furnished. The dining table seats 6. The outside porch has a table and chairs.
You will enjoy being right beside Coligny (on the quiet side of the building), where you can stroll over for ice cream, eat at a choice of restaurants, walk to the pharmacy, buy your fresh seafood and groceries at the Piggly Wiggly, and of course, walk across the street to the beach.

Very clean, excellent access to beach and restaurants.
Recommend to anybody.
Unit 106 at North Shore Place was the perfect location; within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and most importantly an easy walk to the beach. Being on the first floor was also a huge plus. We especially enjoyed the extra windows and brightness of this corner unit. In spite of a mandatory evacuation for Hurricane Irma during our stay, we were able to return. The owner was very cordial and a resident of Hilton Head so he kept us in the loop as to when our family could return to the Island post hurricane. The unit was very comfortable and we did not encounter any issues whatsoever. We requested extra towels and these were delivered right away. It was a pleasure working with Jaime and we would definitely stay here again albeit our family has grown and we now need a 3-4 bedroom condo.
Great Condo and Location.
Unit was clean and well stocked. We cooked dinner three nights, made breakfast and lunch most mornings. The beach is a short walk across the street and about a block. The building is well kept. One of the nice things are the luggage carts for packing and unpacking. Very much appreciated. A couple of recommendations for food when you go. Check out Sage Room, very yummy, I always love Santa Fe, Also Holy Tequilla has a nice vibe to it.
Definitely rent bikes and ride the trails. We rode all the way to whole foods, past the shelter cove stuff. Was a great ride for the family.
The only thing I wish would have been done to this condo was the master bath could use an updated shower, maybe remove the the tub and put in a nice tile/glass door shower. Most people don't want to take baths at rentals and the current shower is small and hard to maneuver. Other than that it was great. We would rent the condo again for sure.
Clean and close to Coligny
This is our 5th rental on Hilton Head in 7 years and this was by far the cleanest rental we have had on the island.
We enjoyed being on the first floor. The elevator was great for arriving and departing, but during the week we liked being able to just take the one flight of stairs and not wait on the elevator. Carts are provided to help move your luggage during arrival and departure or after a large grocery run.
We saw staff in the common areas of the condo several times during the week cleaning. The pool always had a security guard on hand to make sure you belonged there.
We had always rented houses before and were concerned about the size, but it's just perfect for a family of four.
You can't beat the location! We hope to come back next year.
Great place...will be back
We love this location and this unit was great as it had more light than the others and was clean and in great shape.
Very nicely furnished condo that was next to Coligny
Our family really enjoyed this condo. It was one of the best condos we've stayed at. The layout was great with a split bedroom floor plan and everything was very comfortable, couches, chairs and king bed. We really enjoyed our time in this condo and felt so comfortable. There was also plenty of space for our family of 5 with none of us ever feeling cramped. We brought a crockpot from home and enjoyed a couple dinners on the very large patio, at the patio table. We forgot our boogie boards at home and were SO HAPPY to find 3 in the closet with some beach toys! The beach is a 5 min walk away, as was Coligny. We rented bikes and rode or walked just about everywhere. Very fun! There were a few things that could have improved our stay and made it PERFECT. None of them would be difficult to implement and would really improve the quality of the stay, so I'm hoping the owners take note and make these small changes that would make a really big difference:
1) CURTAINS! Not only is the sun bright at 6am, but the huge fluorescent light right outside the kids bedroom lit up the whole room all night long. It was bright! And made it really difficult for our 5 year old to go to sleep. Room darkening curtains would have been awesome!
2) The condo is situated right next to the large iron gate that has people coming/going all day and night long. Usually this wasn't a big deal, but there were a few times folks returned late at night and were really loud, yelling, laughing and carrying on. They would congregate in the large foyer area right outside our condo door and be really loud, sometimes for 15-20 min at a time. The secondary bedroom window (where the kids sleep) is facing this foyer area, so this was obviously a big problem. We would suggest adding big box fans to the condo closets, so guests can drown out the noise a lot better. Those fans are big, loud, and gold.
3) The tile floor needs to be mopped. Everything looked and smelled so clean, but our feet were filthy after walking around on the tile for 30 minutes. We had to wear socks the whole week or our feet would be black. We've owned homes with tile floors and it's easy to keep them clean. Dirty feet should not be happening.
4) PLEASE place a small sign on the washing machine requesting the door NOT to be closed after use. Moisture is trapped inside for days, which caused our clothes to stink like mildew! It was bad! The closet laundry door can be closed while keeping the machine door slightly ajar.
This condo is across the street from the beach. It is on the first floor, just inside the gate. There is no need to use the elevator to go out, and it is available if you choose to use it. Next door are restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, movie theater, and shopping.
