New 3-bedroom cabin in the Adirondacks - Jay NY
New 3-bedroom cabin in Ausable Acres, Jay NY built in 2025. Guests will find two queen beds and 2 twin beds in the loft, perfect for families or groups. We put comfortable mattresses (Nest medium firm) in all beds so that our guests can comfortably rest! The cabin features two bathrooms, each equipped with a shower (upstairs) and bathtub (downstairs) for a relaxing experience. Enjoy a peaceful retreat with cozy heating and refreshing AC to keep you comfortable year-round. Whether you’re unwinding indoors or exploring nearby, this gorgeous cabin offers an awesome base for your getaway. We hope you enjoy what our place and Jay have to offer. Our cabin has two kitchens. The upstairs kitchen is complete of all appliances whereas the downstairs one is more simple, while still allowing to prepare a quick meal or rinsethe dishes using a Fotile in-sink dishwasher. What makes this new cabin unique:
1. Two kitchens in 2 separate floors (downstairs kitchen is more simple than the full upst one) that allow you to prep something quick when downstairs watching a movie or just hanging out with friends;
2. Presence of a generator in case of a power outage! The generator will kick in automatically. We thought that this is a key investment for a ski area.
3. Quiet area in Ausable Acres
4. Two washer/dryer units (one per floor) to provide more comfort and privacy if 2 families are staying over.
5. Multiple heating systems for a more uniform warmth. We mainly use the in-floor heating throughout the cabin. In winter, the gas stove makes the difference in the great area (both visually and functionally). Finally, we installed a mini-split in each floor for both heating and AC if needed in summer.

I am a scientist from Sardinia, Italy. My job as a scientist is often stressful. So, in the last 5 years, with my husband, we fell in love with the Adirondacks and last year decided to build our own dream cabin! Sharing a cabin with those who like nature and peace will make us the happiest.
Why they chose this property
The tranquil vibe and the little knoll in the property were the top selling points for us. Also, being 15-20 min from Whiteface Mountain and 25 min from Lake placid helped. We are getting to know people like us, who deeply love the combination of trees and smells typical of that area (pine tree smells), and can say that everyone has been so kind and easy going so far.
What makes this property unique
We positioned our cabin in a way that it captures the afternoon sun until sunset. The large glass windows ensure that whether it’s a summer sunny day or a snowy winter day, the view of huge pine trees with the Whiteface range mountains in the back will make you remember this cabin.
We also chose quality building materials and appliances to provide top experiences for our guests. Our style is a little modern, but also warm and cabiny! We also built 2 kitchens, one fully equipped and the other, in the downstairs floor, simpler, yet efficient. So, big families can be comfortable and never feel like they are in a crammed space. We can’t wait to host you!
