About this property

Log home in the forest - incredible view of peaks to the south - private & cozy!

This 4-bedroom log cabin style home is perfect for your escape to the Winter Park area. It boasts a newly renovated kitchen and wood-burning fireplace as well as radiant, in-floor heating that keeps the space comfortable no matter the season. Whether you’re relaxing after a day of adventure or gathering for a meal, this top notch home provides a perfect retreat. Guests will enjoy ample sleeping options with 1 king bedroom, 2 queen bedrooms, a twin-over queen bunk bed in the rec room, and the option to pull out another queen mattress from below the queen bunk - plenty of space for everyone!

Regarding access, you will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle in the snowy months (roughly Nov-April, the driveway is not terribly long but it's a little steep at the beginning so an appropriate 4WD vehicle is needed.

The property is beautiful, but does have a number of hazards that need to be avoided. The bordering area is natural forest so animals including bears and moose are present; never feed or approach them. Natural hazards such as falling trees or uneven footing may be encountered so leaving the house is not recommended. Please also note that the patio is closed during the snowy months because of the many blizzards the area experiences that bury it and create tremendous amounts of ice, plus the risk of roof avalanches. Thank you for your understanding.

We loved our stay here for the holidays! The house was spacious enough for our family, super cozy, and the views were amazing. Pictures really don’t do it justice! The location was great and our whole family loved it. Mike was awesome to work with and made sure we had everything we needed and that all our questions were answered. Would definitely stay here again.
