We loved our stay here! The host, Steve, is excellent with communication if we had any questions. Our family travels with our dogs so this home was perfect being dog friendly. We loved the pool, hot tub and billiards room and the bedrooms were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The house having separate floors was perfect for everyone to have a little space and very nice for gathering for a meal or some downtime from the sun. We would definitely stay again

Perfect distance from the beach. The photos do not do the property justice. The house was spacious, clean, and very cozy. The beer/wine cooler was an added perk. The outdoor showers and dog washing stations were so helpful. My friends and I settled in quick and comfortably. For our first experience in Outer Banks, this home felt cozy and convenient.

Beautifully set up, walking distance to both the beach and the bay for sunrise and sunset, driving distance to Dollar General, several small restaurants and live entertainment. Accommodations with bedding and space were amazing. Everything you would need for the house for an entire week is there, including coffee pot, multiple crockpots and steam pots, pots, pans, and dishes! Pool and hot tub were awesome as well! All of the beach equipment you would need is available as well!

Our 3 generation family of 11 had an amazing stay here! I had a couple of questions for the owner and he promptly replied! Hot tub and pool were a great getaway from the beach. From the deck, we watched sunrises over the beach and sunsets over the sound. Very short and easy walk to the beach. We couldn’t have asked for a better deal! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house had everything you could possibly need, and was just perfect for our 5 person group plus my dog. Pool was great, hot tub was great, and it was so nice to have that many bedrooms and bathrooms. Short walk to the beach or the sound, just as described. We would 100% stay here again!

The home was very nice and big enough for all of us. My family enjoyed the pool everyday . Loved how quiet the street was and being on a dead end was a plus for my 1.5 year old grandson to ride his bike. Morning sunrise on the balcony was so enjoyable.

Fun getaway

Great location near enough of life’s conveniences, but quiet at the same time. House has a very well appointed kitchen and comfortable beds. Great views of the ocean and sound from the deck.

Great family get away

We took our family, 13 in all, and we all had a great time. With 7 grandchildren, 15-2yrs of age, the room set up was easy to sleep all. Had easy access to beach, great decks to relax, quite neighborhood. Would go back again.

Perfect location and a great time!

This is your typical ideal beach house with everything you need. The caretaker, Misty, lives next door and is wonderful! Plenty of outside deck space to relax. The pool and hot tub were great!

Life at Life is Golden

The house was perfect for 6 adults and 3 kiddo’s. Full kitchen was a must. The proximity to the ocean and sound were great. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Yes we would rent it again.

Another great stay at Life is Golden

Another great stay at Life is Golden. Although the weather didn’t cooperate we still enjoyed our vacation in the OBX . The house was just as shown in the listing , Grill and deck furniture have been upgraded since our last stay. No complaints and would definitely recommend.
