Esta unidad no tiene una cerradura electrónica, para su estadía recibirá sus llaves de la caja de cerradura.
Este espacioso condominio del segundo piso con tres dormitorios, dos baños y medio, ofrece alojamiento para ocho personas. Las camas incluyen un rey en el maestro, una reina en el dormitorio de invitados y dos camas individuales en el colorido cuarto de los niños. Su hogar lejos del hogar con aire acondicionado incluye una cocina y un comedor de tamaño completo, bien provistos de vajilla y utensilios, lavavajillas, microondas, tostadora y cafetera. Family mini vacation stay

Property was nice and clean. We enjoyed hanging out by the pool. It wasn't to far from the beach. We also had a great view of the beach from the room. Most definitely be back!!!

Good for the most part

Dune 209

This is a great property. Older property which means it is a larger property with 3 large bedrooms and a large kitchen/living area with full washer and dryer. 2 full bathrooms and a half bath. Two balconies facing the ocean. It is not handicap accessible and my mother had a problem getting around with her walker in the bathrooms. The pool was great indoor and outdoor with hot tub. Beach is easily accessible. We were able to rent a beach wheelchair for my mother to be able to go onto the beach with ease to watch her great grandchildren play.

We appreciated the staff and their patience as we were affected in our schedule by that hurricane. The only disappointment was the kitchen tools available! We cooked a lot and they could use an upgrade! We will book again!!!!

Reviewer Comments: The beds were comfortable, even though one of the headboards wasn’t attached to the bed. The living room furniture was ok but could have been more cushy. The kitchen utensils and pots and pans were limited. The TVs were so small I found myself standing in front of it to see what was happening. The carpet in the bedrooms was bunched up in areas.

Not over the top

The shower drains were super slow. Working on building and elevators were in shambles. Door code did not lock the door when we left at any time. Pool hot tub closed at 9. I was a themplace a had a guard shack. There was a room that was not labeled Guard Or Security that another resident had to show me so that could get parking passes. Listing said tennis and golf- I saw neither.

Snowbirds at Ft Morgan

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 10 weeks of constant construction ! It was not restful or quiet!There were 4 different trades working. Started at 7 AM. Roof., windows, removing stucco and starting process of rebuilding , grinding down of cement decks and walkways It was loud, dusty , messy intrusive I understand these were repairs from hurricane Sally from 2020And I understand they have to be done. But we rented back in May, paid in full early Nov. we’re told Dec 17 there would be some minor repairs going on. We couldn’t cancel. And these were not minor. We were told Sunset didn’t know and the condo association didn’t share. Well the owners are the condo association. So they certainly should have known how major these repairs would be. Unfortunately we had no choice. Could not get money back or new place. We asked for at least some compensation of at least $1000. Other renters did receive refunds from other owners. We paid over $6000 for this place. Plus the unit is very tired. Worn bedding with rips in some, curtains dirty, no screens on sliders, bedroom windows had plastic taped over. So windows couldn’t be opened the entire time. Plus they aren’t even close to being done plus carpet was pretty gross and vacuum didn’t really work. We had to totally dust and clean twice from all the dust from the deck grinding. There were also holes in the two bedrooms from pounding the new insulation on the outside. About 14 in one room 4 in the other I would not recommend staying here

We appreciate your very detailed review. We did notify guest about the construction, we had no control or say so over any of the construction projects that were going on. It is still repair from Hurricane Sally, many properties along the Gulf Coast still have construction going on. We do not manage all of the condos at the Dunes, therefore i have no knowledge about what other guests received. I've had other reviews that stated the guest had a great time while staying there, and the dates were the same as yours. We were happy that we could accommodate you by adding on to your stay as you requested. We hope the construction will be completed soon for everyone that was affected by that terrible storm.

Reviewer Comments: Dunes 209 is a remote location, but you can get to orange beach / gulf shores in 25 minutes. You are set far back from the beach - which is fine, but it was not a good fit for toddlers. The pool was nice. The unit was spacious, but needed updates & needed better beds & pillows. The rooms should come equipped with room darkening shades for the guests to use if they want to sleep in. We used the grills often, & it was nice being close to tacky jacks.

Ah, So Relaxing & Peaceful

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had hiccups in the beginning as our original place had damage that completion was delayed. We had to shorten our stay by 1 day to find this 1 but was actually a better fit for our family. Unlock code did not work when we arrived, but 1 phone call & a few minutes on the phone, challenge solved. Such a beautiful location, quiet, peaceful & friendly! This condo had all the basics needed & was quite nice! Next time I talk my husband into a Vacation (had been some years) I would LOVE to return here. Was exactly everything I had hoped for a wonderful family getaway!

We kept finding long black fake hairs on everything, which really grossed me out. There was no broom or dustpan. We had to buy them to keep the place tidy and clean up the sand we brought in. Didn’t realize that you had to enter the door code to lock up when you leave. The codes emailed from property management didn’t always jive. Had to call customer service a couple of times. No tv cable or satellite in bedrooms. Only in the living room. No hangers in the closets to hang up your clothes. Had a couple of rainy days, no games or anything to entertain the family. The puzzle there was missing pieces....uggghhh. I’m not usually a complainer, but it lacked a lot in things that other condos provide. This is our 5th year at the Dunes condos. Although the 3rd bedroom was an awesome aspect, we will definitely NOT be staying in 209 ever again.

Lydia, I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay. If you had told us, we would have brought you a broom and dustpan and also would have looked at the tv's for you. Unfortunately, we do not provide games for rainy days, that is up to the owner if they leave anything like that. It's hard to make sure no puzzle pieces go missing when guests are in and out. Come stay with us again and we'll find another condo for you!

This condo afforded me and my guest lots of privacy The amenities were plentiful. The cost was reasonable.It is approximately 3 blocks from the beach ( not 3 minutes). It takes at least 5+ minutes to walk to the beach. Everyone associated with the rental was polite and courteous.Two worth mentioning flaws: bedskirts on bed were ripped from base and the balcony off primary bedroom had no chairs - easily remedied with my own umbrella chairs that happened to be in my trunk. Wonderful restaurants, markets, and spirit stores near by.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is very spacious. It’s dated and could use updating. The TV’s are too small. The walk to the beach is further than stated. It would be a good idea to offer golf carts with rental. The code didn’t work. One of the numbers On keypad did not work. Called rental company and was told maintenance would be out but they never showed. A lady that manages on site gave us her code to use. Both tubs had drain issues and sand in tubs. There was an elliptical in the hallway that had to be removed. Pool had a lot of bugs in water.

I'm sorry about the issues you had during your stay in Dunes 209. This is certainly not the experience that we want for our guests. Our website states that these condos are approximately 300 yards from the beach, which is correct. There are several companies that offer golf cart rentals and we keep that information handy for guests who wish to rent one. I looked back at the work orders and I did see where the tub drain issues were reported and that maintenance came that same day and took care of that issue, but I did not see a work order for the door lock. I'm glad you were able to obtain a code that worked. The elliptical in the unit is a mystery. I do not have an answer for that. As for the pool, that is managed by the condo association. They contract the cleaning out to a pool company. Please check out our website at to see all of our properties. We hope to see you again!

Everything in the condo was perfect! The security at the condo was so nice and helpful with everything!

Nice size

The unit was a nice size, but needs some serious updating. The furniture was out of date and the beds needed new mattresses. The location to the beach was great, but far away from restaurants and other stores.

disappointed and dirty

while unloading our truck the guard on duty instantly started asking my husband for a parking pass and telling him he would have to pay $40 for a pass, only to find out there was a pass in the room. Of course this was first impression and I called spoke to someone that stated she was new and had to look up the policy. I was able to clear it up with the gaurd, but we felt as if we were causing a violation just to check in. Keep in mind there is NO front desk check in, no one to speak with, just a guard giving you a hard time while trying to unload and him asking for money!!! Next trying to open the door, the zero of the key pad would not work and it took a while to figure how to get in. Once my family entered and started unpacking, my sister looked at bedding ( keep in mind this is during COVID19, and VRBO had a statement about taking EXTRA measures for cleaning). The bedding ( and I mean do mean ALL THE BEDDING) had hair and crumbs and you can tell someone had been in there with dirty feet and sand. Coffee had been spilled down the front of the cabinets, the floor still had sand on it and goldfish snack crackers, We found two bottles of opened used water sitting on top of the DVD player, the walls had patch job after patch job on them that had not been sanded or painted, the patio furniture was COVERED in rust, I even ended up cutting my ankle on one of them. So I called the management office the first time and spoke to some about the parking pass ) not much help, called the management office again to report the condition of the property ( such the contract stated to do) I was told by Karen that she was the one that inspected the condo and the only thing she saw was a role of TP missing in the half bathroom. As I was trying to discuss the issues, I felt as if she rushed me off the phone and just stated she will send the cleaning lady back AGAIN. the cleaner came back again and changed the sheet with all but the masters bedding and stated she does not have a fitted sheet but she could wash it, then asked to use our laundry powder. She placed them in the washer and then just looked at me, then I just stated don't worry I will place them in the dryer and finish making the beds. please also keep in mind, she only changed sheets. NO blankets or comforters. I ended up cleaning the entire condo with the help of my sister. The pool area had black on the pathways of the walking areas, there is no way that this place had routine maintenance .
