The host was very responsive and helpful. The place is very cozy and in a great country location. Easy driveway for all vehicles. Accommodations were excellent and beds were comfy. We had no complaints with the home. The master shower was very different (large) and really cool. We enjoyed the peaceful nights and property beside the lake to go fishing with the kids. The bathroom spa was very nice too. WiFi worked the whole time we were there. We would definitely stay there again.

Such a cute cabin tucked away in the woods but close enough to the water. All the normal amenities that you would expect in a home, great WiFi, washer dryer, stove, fridge etc but the best feature is the 4 head spa shower with enough water pressure to run all 4 at once if you wanted to. I had a sinus headache and it helped so much to stand in the shower with all the hot water and humidity. Outside of the cabin, there’s a fire pit and a quietness that you’re not going to find in the city. You might hear a rooster crowing in the distance or a boat on the lake but overall you can sit outside and enjoy the quietness of nature. You can explore a bit in the woods and see a dry creek bed or just walk around. Owners/Hosts are super close if something comes up and are very responsive to messages. Overall we had a great time and will definitely book again if we come out that way again.

We had a ok stay at this property. The only communication with the host is through email and that’s not effective. The power was out for several hours on 2 separate days and I had no idea if the owner was aware. The home was not as big as we expected and the couch was very small plus a foosball table was added to the living area which made it cramped. The couch was also very uncomfortable and somewhat falling apart. We ended up leaving Thursday night at 6:30 pm even though we were supposed to check out Saturday morning. The power was out and it had been 100 degrees that day and was too hot to stay in the house without knowing when the power would be restored. Also, the internet was in and out and since email is the only way of communicating I had trouble letting the owner know this. When I did, I had no response. And when we left early I emailed the owner but still haven’t had a response from him.

Thank you for your feedback. I do want to clarify a few things for future guests reading this review. Communication throughout the reservation was through the VRBO app, and I responded to every message that I saw come through. I certainly was not intentionally ignoring any communication from this guest. Unfortunately, the power outages during the stay were utility outages outside of my control. I contacted VRBO regarding the situation and was advised that weather and power outages are circumstances a host simply cannot control. The internet was also affected when the power/service was interrupted. I completely understand how uncomfortable losing power on a 100-degree day can be, and I am sorry that this affected your stay. Had there been something within my control that I could have done to restore the electricity, I absolutely would have done so. As for the home itself, the size, layout and furnishings are shown and described in the listing, and the foosball table is an additional amenity provided for our guests. I take pride in being responsive and treating my guests well, and I appreciate all feedback, even when someone’s experience is affected by circumstances beyond my control. I will continue doing everything I can to make sure my guests have an enjoyable stay.

Very remote and secluded. No map of property boundaries, no clear access to getting into the water. Gravel/Clay road to get to property, suggest twenty miles per hour once off main paved roads. Shower is big, but the layout doesn't make sense, no hand held and separate handles for each shower head for walk in. Just a simple jet tub for two, Not a real hot tub, just a bathtub with jets, bubbles and light. Foosball table is a nice addition to be found.
