About the host
Hosted by David
We’re David & Holly.
We started hosting because we genuinely love bringing people together – big family trips, milestone birthdays, wedding weekends, long-overdue reunions. We’ve been the ones organizing those trips ourselves, and we know how much pressure falls on the person who books the house.
Before opening our cabins to guests, we actually lived in them while renovating. Every layout choice, kitchen detail, and gathering space was shaped by real life, by cooking big meals, hosting friends, figuring out where people naturally gather and where they need privacy.
We’re both musicians who recharge in the mountains. David grew up hiking and lake-swimming in Minnesota; Holly grew up exploring the Adirondacks. We’ve lived all over the country (even in Rio for a while) but we fell hard for the Smokies. There’s something about the light in the mornings and the quiet after sunset that feels grounding and generous.
So we built the kind of cabins we always wished existed:
Spacious but comfortable.
Private enough for everyone to breathe.
Designed for real cooking, real gathering, and real downtime.
We’re hands-on owners, not a national management company. When you message, it’s us. When something needs attention, we handle it directly. We care about communication, follow-through, and making sure your stay feels smooth from booking to checkout.
Hosting isn’t passive for us. It’s intentional.
If you’re planning something that matters, we’d love to help you do it well.
