The majestic beauty of the Swan Range and the Splendor of the Blasdel Wildlife Preserve coupled with a country log cabin with all the modern amenities is what makes The Roost Lodge is the place for your next special event. 360 degree views abound in this private, but easily accessed setting just 1 1/2 miles from Flathead Lake and 45 miles from Glacier National Park.
The cabin itself was built in 1979 almost completely out of fir. We took the cabin apart piece by piece and moved it from Bigfork to Somers. Placed on a new foundation we transformed this quaint old cabin into a modern lodge designed for entertainment, bringing friends and family together, and a place to relax. The lodge has five bedrooms, a rec-room, and bath facilities on all three flours. The main floor hosts the piano lounge, dinning area, and our designer kitchen, as well as our handicap accessible bathroom & bedroom.
The rec-room is just below the bar with an ping pong table, darts, & flat screen. The master loft will boast of the views. With two decks your mountain views are amazing including views into Canada, Big Mountain, Glacier Park, the Swan Range, Jewel Basin, Swan Peak, Mission Mountains. With a king size bed and a fire at your feet you might not want to leave this room. Attached is a his and hers bathroom, spa shower with rain head and steamer. Enjoy dinner and drinks on our 1700 sq' of deck and patio.
The venue is surrounded by farm land and is directly across from the Blasdel Waterfowl Production Area. We have a 32' x 90' Tide Water Sail Tent and lighting and sound equipment for your event needs.
This VRBO partner has demonstrated and is committed to fast response times, the best rates, and a great guest experience.
Hi, my name is Isaac Incoronato. Owner and operator of The Roost Lodge. I was born in Montana and now have lived here most of my life. Growing up with a Contractor for a father and an international teacher I was given lots of opportunity to learn to build a create as well as interact with people and different cultures from the many places we visited. As a kid I dreamed of opening up my own Dive and Serf shop on a paradise Island somewhere in South East Asia and spend the days taking people out to have a good time. Feeding them good food and enjoying the company of new people.
Some twenty plus years later I decided the business plan was still sound and I had plenty of experience to start my own Mountain Bungalow and provide people with The Montana Experience on any level.
With years of experience in event planning and a construction background I began building a Lodge that would be designed to cater to one group of customers at a time. It's beauty is in the details and the views of the Rocky Mountains. I built this place to share with the world THE LAST BEST PLACE!
Isaac Incoronato purchased this lodge in 2012

This location and house was beyond description. The house was decorated like a five-star resort. And was equipped with everything one might need on vacation. Everything. I have traveled to VRBO's around the globe and have never stayed at one as nice, as well appointed, or as beautiful. The location that was central, convenient and yet felt remote. We watched foxes, bald eagles and deer in the yard from the bubbling comfort of the hot tub. It was a short and scenic drive to the entrance of Glacier National Park, restaurants, and stores. Everything was just spectacular. Isaac checked on us during the week and he was always available if we had any questions. I would come back here in a heartbeat and recommend it for anyone. We are a crew of 10 and a wide range of ages from my two-year-old nephew to my parents. Everyone was comfortable and there was plenty of room. The house was so comfortable that we often took a break from the outdoor adventures to just stay and enjoy the house. Thank you Isaac!!!
Great place loved the location very central. We highly recommend going to Dell's dinner in Sommers. Only complaint is how drafty the cabin is. We had a huge snow storm with high winds and you could feel the wind in every room of the house. The owner is excellent to deal with and helps with anything you need to know.
This property has everything you could ask for. Our stay was great and the house was fully stocked for all our needs. The perfect getaway with a view!
We had a group of 9 adults and stayed over a blustery New Year's winter weekend. The Roost is great for large groups - there are two distinct living room areas in addition to the bedrooms and other spaces, so everyone can have the space they need/want. The beds were all comfy, and the kitchen is more fully stocked than any other VRBO we've stayed in. The hot tub and steam shower were both amazing - the perfect places to relax after a ski day on Big Mountain or a cross-country ski excursion on the nearby trails. Isaac was great too - there was an issue with the furnace and thermostats, and he got them both fixed ASAP.
Only a couple very small drawbacks of the house: All of the doors are drafty, so our first night there, when the wind was howling and it was snowing heavily, we had snow coming in and piling up around the doors, and some even around the upstairs bedroom windows. Overall, the house stayed warm though, and this isn't likely to be a problem outside of the dead of winter. Also, be aware that the master suite upstairs is surrounded by windows, and there are no shades or curtains, so whoever is in there will wake up with the sun. Lastly, there were a couple people in our group really looking forward to ping pong, but there isn't a ping-pong table anymore - just FYI.
Overall, a really nice, relaxing weekend - The Roost is close to so many nearby activities, and it's great for large groups of families or friends. I bet it's even better in the summer!
The house was fantastic!! Very cool redone log home with a great kitchen, huge hot tub and awesome bar area. The master suite is on the top floor, there is one bedroom and bathroom on the main floor and three bedrooms and a bathroom along with an additional den and pool table in the basement. The layout was great for two families and the house is very kid friendly. The host, Isaac, could not have been kinder and more helpful! I strongly recommend this house.
Had a great weekend. Everyone used the steam shower it was awesome. Host was awesome super relaxed. Left the place messy just left money to clean up instead of trying to clean it up by 10am.
