Moonlight Resort

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The location is beautiful - really can't be beat. The cabin is a typical Northwoods place - could benefit from some updating, but otherwise perfectly functional. With the views of the lake, hanging out by the fire pit is the place to be. There is no WiFi at the cabin, which would be a nice improvement. We will be back!

awesome

The cabin exceeded my expectations. It was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Cabin was clean, very spacious. Games for indoors and outdoors, books for kids and adults. It was just an awesome experience. I will definitely try to rent this every summer when I visit up north.

Moonlight Bay Magic!!!

We had a wonderful vacation on Lake Shishebogama!! The property was absolutely beautiful and close to the lake with beautiful skies of gorgeous sunsets, abundant nature, families of loons, and peace in the northwoods. The cottage had all of the necessities we needed along with yard games, kayaks & rowing boats! Brian was a great host and was responsive with any questions we had throughout the week. We had a great time fishing, accessing the many acres of water including the adjacent Gunlock Lake. We would highly recommend this property for families and would love to return to this property in the future! This was a wonderful family vacation.

Picturesque

The location and lake are literally like you stepped into a magazine. Beautiful property and lake. Watching sunsets was one of our favorite things and the view will make you want to come back year after year! Brian was attentive and very helpful. He answered any and all questions we had and was very gracious even when my children opened the garage door we were not supposed to open:). I rated cleanliness a 4 only because there were some spider webs in the bathroom corners and I wouldn't consider it spotless--HOWEVER, this is a Northwoods cabin, so it tends to come with the territory. The only other con was the beds. Let me be clear that the pros of this cabin out-weighed this drawback to still make it a fabulous vacation. The beds were extremely hard and seemingly old and springy. Again, not a deal breaker for us but as a renter it is nice to know things like this ahead of time. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moonlight Bay and will cherish our memories there forever!

Thank you for your comments , I enjoyed meeting you, your husband and the kids. We have talked with the cleaning crew and will do a better job in the future. Also you are the first to make the comments on the beds, I appreciate hearing from you about the beds not being comfortable, our goal is to try to have everyone have a nice vacation, these are more firm mattresses and not plush pillowy mattresses', just the same we are ordering new mattresses and box springs and they will be here in about two weeks and hopefully guests will sleep better. Thank you for your comments, feel free to come back and try the new bedding sometime Brian

Wonderful week up north

The week was great - we skied, swam, biked and fished. The fishing was great with perch, panfish and even some walleye. Close enough to minocqua to go out to eat and shop but far enough out that there was peace and quiet. Brian was a great host snd the house is wonderful

Moonlight bay

Was a great place to stay. Family loved the cabin backyard is flat all the way to pier witch is hard to find lake was big. A lot bigger than we anticipated was great for water sports with ski boat and lots of opportunities for fishing. Brian checked in a couple times to see if we needed anything which was great. Great family trip and great memories for the family. Thanks again Brian
