3 bedroom cabin on Lake Shishebogama in Minocqua, WI

This Cabin is Formally the original owners home of" Sunset Ridge resort", built at the prime location on the shoreline that they wanted back in the 1950's Lakefront home/cabin will accommodate 8 people with three bedrooms. Sleeping arrangements include four full size beds . Bedrooms feature closets and nice sized windows.

Cabin has a freshly renovated bathroom with a vanity and full size shower over tub. This generous floor plan includes an efficient kitchen (with stove and refrigerator), living room with fireplace, and large dining area. New flooring throughout cabin, Attached screen porch with wood cathedral ceiling acts as an additional family room. An extra enclosed porch/sun-room overlooks the lake and connects to your own private deck. A free-standing charcoal grill is available for guest use off the deck. Even if it rains, You are gonna love the views from the lakeside 3 season sun-porch and deck and how close you are to the lake, or take a trip , only 5 miles to Minocqua attractions. you can have a short Walk to Black Bear restaurant for great food and music. Hiking trails nearby. plenty to do on the Lake without leaving, fire-pit and dock provided

Experience a truly quiet and relaxing setting amongst the mature trees. You will encounter plenty of wildlife, including: bald eagles, sand hill cranes, ducks, geese, deer, and nesting loons. This clear water two lake chain (connecting to Gunlock Lake) has approximately 1,000 acres with an island and many bays. This is one of the best lakes for water quality in Oneida county. Fishing is excellent for the musky, northern pike, walleye, bass, crappies, bluegills, and sunfish. The cottage is about 75 feet from the shoreline, so bring your reading materials and/or just relax & refresh yourself. The star-filled night skies are brilliant and inspiring. Take a refreshing dip in the lake or canoe/kayak along the shorelines. A row boat, a paddleboat, and a canoe are available for guest use upon request. Horseshoe pit and basketball hoop on property.

The resort is only 5 miles from downtown Minocqua, 10 miles to casino, near lots of hiking trails, and right down the road from the wilderness wildlife zoo.

Weekly rentals or daily rentals available. Guests must bring their own kitchen & bathroom towels, toilet paper, and paper towels. Bed linens are provided. Additional charge for more than 8 guests.

We also have a neighboring 2 bedroom cottage on the lake (sleeping 5-6) available for rent.

Great summer vacation

We had a great stay and the whole family had fun. Fishing was good and the kids enjoyed a lot of water sports. Location is great as it's just a few minutes to town.

Excellent cabin for a family trip up north

My wife and i and our 5 children stayed at this lovely cabin, the view of the lake is picturesque, especially at sunset, and the stars were amazing, brian was a wonderful host, the boats he provided were a hit with the whole family, the fire pit eas was perfect for s'mores and the fishing from the dock was great, the the swi Ing off the dock was slso great witth a shallow sandy area

Moonlight Bay Cabin

Our stay at the Moonlight Bay Cabin was a very pleasant experience. The cabin and grounds were as advertised and also very clean and tidy. A relaxing time was had by all. Thank you owner Brian Collins for offering this cabin. It was a pleasure to do business with such an honest and polite person seeing to our needs.

A lot of fun

The week was great,weather was good,had a lot of fun swimming,tubing,waterskiing and fishing.it was great to have kayaks to use. It was great seeing Brian at the cabin. The kids call the place magic.

Moonlight Resort

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The location is beautiful - really can't be beat. The cabin is a typical Northwoods place - could benefit from some updating, but otherwise perfectly functional. With the views of the lake, hanging out by the fire pit is the place to be. There is no WiFi at the cabin, which would be a nice improvement. We will be back!

The cabin exceeded my expectations. It was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Cabin was clean, very spacious. Games for indoors and outdoors, books for kids and adults. It was just an awesome experience. I will definitely try to rent this every summer when I visit up north.

Moonlight Bay Magic!!!

We had a wonderful vacation on Lake Shishebogama!! The property was absolutely beautiful and close to the lake with beautiful skies of gorgeous sunsets, abundant nature, families of loons, and peace in the northwoods. The cottage had all of the necessities we needed along with yard games, kayaks & rowing boats! Brian was a great host and was responsive with any questions we had throughout the week. We had a great time fishing, accessing the many acres of water including the adjacent Gunlock Lake. We would highly recommend this property for families and would love to return to this property in the future! This was a wonderful family vacation.

Picturesque

The location and lake are literally like you stepped into a magazine. Beautiful property and lake. Watching sunsets was one of our favorite things and the view will make you want to come back year after year! Brian was attentive and very helpful. He answered any and all questions we had and was very gracious even when my children opened the garage door we were not supposed to open:). I rated cleanliness a 4 only because there were some spider webs in the bathroom corners and I wouldn't consider it spotless--HOWEVER, this is a Northwoods cabin, so it tends to come with the territory. The only other con was the beds. Let me be clear that the pros of this cabin out-weighed this drawback to still make it a fabulous vacation. The beds were extremely hard and seemingly old and springy. Again, not a deal breaker for us but as a renter it is nice to know things like this ahead of time. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moonlight Bay and will cherish our memories there forever!

We loved the cabin the view and the lake. Close to towns. Would have liked wifi it rained one day all day and a few could have done some work and we could have got a few other channels on TV

Great Time

Wonderful week up north

The week was great - we skied, swam, biked and fished. The fishing was great with perch, panfish and even some walleye. Close enough to minocqua to go out to eat and shop but far enough out that there was peace and quiet. Brian was a great host snd the house is wonderful

Our family has enjoyed the northwoods and this lake generations. Property features large wooded lot level to lake. Moonlight Bay is a quiet area of the lake offering beautiful sunsets. Sun porch, screen porch, and deck offer excellent views of the lake.
