Hi, we're Chris and Sandra — the husband-and-wife team behind Slanted Stone Chalet. We fell in love with the Poconos for the same reason most of our guests do: it's the kind of place where you actually exhale. We poured everything we love about mountain getaways into this chalet — a Finnish barrel sauna under the trees, a hot tub built for stargazing, and a great room that practically begs you to stay in your slippers all day. Lake Naomi has this rare quality where you actually notice the quiet. Tall pines, winding lanes, the occasional deer wandering through the yard like it owns the place 🦌. It's a private community tucked into the Pocono Mountains — close enough to Camelback, Kalahari, and the Delaware Water Gap for a full day of adventure, but far enough from the highway that you'll fall asleep to crickets instead of traffic. We chose this neighborhood because it offers the best of both worlds: real mountain stillness when you want it, and great restaurants, breweries, and waterfalls when you don't.
