You will have a private entry, and a large deck. It has a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace insert, TV and DVD, and a 3/4 bath with washer and dryer. The home is in a beautiful SW Portland neighborhood which is close to downtown and many attractions of the area. There is plenty of safe free parking on the street that provides easy access to the apartment. 2 cats and a dog live in the main house and have use of the yard (dog is never in yard when I am not home)....all are friendly.

I live in the main house with my 2 cats, a very obedient siberian husky dog and an African Gray parrot. I occasionally have visitors but we are never loud or intrusive. I make my living in the footwear and apparel business and I have a booth at Saturday market. I grew up in Palo Alto, CA., and I went to undergraduate school in San Diego (UCSD) and graduate school at Oregon State University in Corvallis. I have two grown children. My son is a professional musician and my daughter is a videographer and a personal trainer.

Raleigh Hills Hideaway
This is a cozy pet friendly studio setup with a great outdoor view from the windows and lower deck. A word of caution - the path in and out is not suitable for people with mobility issues. If you are looking for something in town, but quiet and relatively private off the beaten path, this is a good choice.

We Enjoyed Our Stay and Were Very Pleased With the Accommodations
The apartment is, actually, bigger than the picture displays so we were immediately pleased. It's private and very peaceful. The fully appointed kitchen is great and we easily prepared some meals there. Our hostess was very helpful...even wanted to carry our bags to our room. We would definitely stay here again. You are a short Uber ride to downtown Portland, which is great. Also, I left a toiletry item behind and our hostess mailed it to us right away - without my even asking.

Nice, clean, safe, great neighborhood
This is a very well maintained, clean studio. It is a daylight basement set in a hill so one wall is fully above ground. It is well equipped and supplied. Fully functional kitchen. Great communication with owner.
This property is in an ideal location just a 10 to 15 minute drive to downtown Portland. Forest Park, The Arboretum, the zoo, food carts, many hiking trails, Nike Headquarters, a neighborhood park with tennis courts, a pool, BBQ pits and picnic tables are nearby.
