peace in the city

  • 5 of 5

The location of the property is in a very nice neighborhood and the apartment is private. There is a beautiful view of trees outside the deck and you don't see other houses.

The apartment is well stocked and very comfortable for 2 people. It feels like home away from home.

Julie is a gracious hostess.

I will stay here again if I find myself in Portland.

Charming and Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

Julie's rental was perfect for me. Cozy and comfortable with a beautiful view. I had a 6 week stay and this rental had everything I needed and it even had a fireplace. It is in a lovely, quiet, and safe neighborhood. It was great for walking and there was a park and neighborhood library nearby. It is close to downtown and grocery stores, but you do need a car. I would definitely stay here again. This was one of the best places I have stayed at in Portland.

This was perfect for my small family of three. Beautiful view in back yard. Super friendly pets, especially the cats who hung out with us. Julie was super nice.

It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

Julie's studio is a wonderful place. Quite, with a big deck looking out over the trees, you feel like you're out in the country when actually you're in a gorgeous neighborhood. The studio itself is very large and even though there isn't a separate bedroom, it is so spacious that it almost seems like there is. The only 2 things I'd be aware of is the shower is apartment size. It worked great, but I know if my husband had come, it would have been tight. And second, there are steps to get to the apartment, so it could be difficult for some. Again, not that anything was wrong, I just know it helps me when people describe the places they stayed. Julie couldn't have been kinder. She wasn't home for my stay, so didn't get to meet her or the animals in person. However, she checked in to make sure everything was ok and when I asked about places nearby to eat, she gave be great recommendations. I tried them all! The location made it very easy to get around, with a short drive into Downtown Portland and groceries, coffee, etc. right near by.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Well, except that I didn't get to meet Julie and the animals. :-)
