About this property

Cozy & modern couples getaway in Green Valley Lake

Experience mountain serenity in this stylish cabin at Green Valley Lake. Designed for couples, this modern rustic retreat features exposed beams, a full kitchen, two smart TVs, and a spa-like bathroom with a rainfall showerhead for the ultimate relaxation. Enjoy a meal or drink on the wrap-around balcony with breathtaking forest views. It is truly the perfect escape for two.

This large property is lovingly owned and independently cared for by our family - no property managers. When you stay at our guest house, you will experience Green Valley Lake just as our family has for years.

The guest house is exclusively private and has its own completely separate entrance, a comfortable living area, a well-equipped kitchen, and a modern bathroom. Everything you need for a quiet mountain escape.

This cabin also carries a bit of Green Valley Lake history as it was once owned by Einar Lilleberg, a longtime resident known for his love of music, mountain living, and hands-on craftsmanship. His spirit of simplicity and appreciation for the outdoors remain woven into the property’s character, giving the guest house a timeless, welcoming feel.

This charming detached guest house is tucked away on the same property as the main home. You’ll have exclusive access to a fully separated space with its own entrance, living area, kitchen, and bathroom. No shared areas, and no crossover with the main house; this unit is entirely private!

You won’t encounter the main house occupants unless you choose to; your retreat is all yours. Step outside, breathe in the mountain air, and enjoy quiet mornings or evenings surrounded by pines, all just a short drive or stroll from Green Valley Lake’s trailheads, village, and lakeside charm.

Please keep in mind that Green Valley Lake is a mountain community, and weather conditions can change quickly. Access may occasionally be unavailable or limited due to snow, flooding, or wildfires. In the rare event that road closures or unsafe conditions prevent guest access, bookings may be cancelled on short notice for everyone’s safety.

We always do our best to communicate promptly and keep guests updated if weather becomes a concern. During winter, 4WD or chains may be required to reach the property safely.

Please note that the guest house is not equipped with air conditioning. While temperatures in the mountains typically cool down in the evenings, it can still get warm during the day in Green Valley Lake, especially in the summer months. The space does include a ceiling fan, and guests are welcome to open windows to allow for fresh mountain air and natural cooling. We encourage guests to plan accordingly for a comfortable stay.

Wildlife such as squirrels, raccoons, deer, and even bears are part of the area’s charm. Please admire them from a distance and never feed or approach any wildlife animals. Keep food stored indoors and secure trash in the provided bins to avoid attracting animals.

This is an adults-only retreat for a maximum of two guests. No children or pets are allowed under any circumstances. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM to preserve the peaceful mountain atmosphere.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.
