A covered dock with boat lift, jet ski pad, fire pit, and game room round out a property built for the kind of vacation you actually remember. Sleeps 14 across three thoughtfully designed levels.



The Space:

Step into Golden Cove Hideaway and feel the architecture do its work. The A-frame's signature roofline soars overhead, drawing your eyes up through the great room's floor-to-ceiling windows and straight to the water. It's the kind of entrance that immediately puts every guest at ease.



**THE GREAT ROOM AND MAIN LEVEL**

The great room is wide, open, and naturally organized for togetherness. Morning light pours in from the lake-facing windows while the kitchen keeps the cook in the conversation. A full dining room seats the whole group, and the main-level primary suite is just steps away when the day is done. The suite fits a king bed plus two additional singles and has its own private bath.



**THE OUTDOOR SETUP**

The backyard is where this property earns its reputation. A private in-ground pool (not heated) (seasonal - Memorial Day through Labor Day) anchors the space, with a sun deck for lounging between swims. A sandy beach stretches along 120 feet of shoreline for building castles, wading, or putting the kayak in the water. The covered boathouse holds a boat lift and jet ski pad, and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs is waiting for the evenings when no one is ready to go inside. The BBQ grill and outdoor seating make al fresco dinners easy. There is no community boat ramp at this home.



**THE LOFT**

Up the A-frame stairs, the loft level is a retreat within the retreat. Two queen beds tuck neatly under the sloped ceiling with chevron detailing overhead, and the bath includes a clawfoot soaking tub, a tile shower with an octagonal window, and a pedestal sink with a round mirror. It's a bath that surprises guests every time.



**THE LOWER LEVEL**

The lower level offers a private bedroom and its own bathroom, plus the game room that tends to become the most popular room in the house after dark. Whether it's a rainy afternoon or a late-night wind-down, this level keeps the energy going without intruding on anyone trying to rest upstairs.



**LAKE ANNA, PRIVATE SIDE**

Golden Cove Hideaway sits on the private side of Lake Anna, which is quieter, less trafficked, and a different experience from the public side. The two sides are not connected by watercraft. Unfortunately there is not a community boat ramp in this neighborhood so if you'd like to boat, you will need to contact DV Rentals — a neighbor-owned operation that delivers to the property. Book early; they fill up fast.



**SLEEPING LAYOUT**

Sleeps 14 across three levels:

- Main Level, Primary Suite: King bed + 2 singles, private bath

- Loft Level: 2 queen beds + 2 doubles, private bath with clawfoot tub

- Lower Level: 1 Full bed + 1 twin over full bunk bed, private bath



**GUEST FIT**

Golden Cove Hideaway is best suited for families and multigenerational groups who want a full lakefront experience without sacrificing comfort or space. The mix of outdoor amenities, multiple gathering areas, and private sleeping arrangements across three levels makes it easy for a group of 14 to coexist without ever feeling crowded.



**IMPORTANT NOTES**

- Pets are not permitted

- Quiet hours: 10 PM to 8 AM

- Free parking for 6 vehicles (no parking or driving on grass)

- No parties, events, or outside guests

- Guest age requirement: primary booker must be 25 or older

- Boat lift not for guest use; do not operate the lift mechanism

Guests have full access to the entire home, pool, dock, beach, and outdoor spaces during their stay.

The Neighborhood:

Golden Cove Hideaway is located on the private (warm) side of Lake Anna in Bumpass, Virginia. The private side is quieter and more secluded than the public side, fed by warm water discharge that extends the swimming season into fall. The property sits on a two-acre wooded lot with 120 feet of shoreline, offering privacy and direct lake access with a sandy beach, covered boathouse, and calm water perfect for swimming, kayaking, and boating.



Getting Around:

Lake Anna is a drive-to destination. The property is approximately 2 hours from Washington, D.C., 1 hour from Richmond, VA, and 45 minutes from Charlottesville, VA. Free parking on premises for up to 6 vehicles. No parking or driving on the grass.



Other Things to Note:

This is a renovated lakefront A-frame on the private side of Lake Anna with three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a private pool (not heated) (seasonal - Memorial Day through Labor Day). The home sleeps up to 14 guests across three levels, each with its own full bathroom.

The fully equipped kitchen, open great room, game room, and outdoor living areas are designed for groups and families who want to spend quality time together on the water.

Enjoy mornings with coffee on the deck, afternoons in the pool or on the lake, and evenings gathered around the fire pit under the stars. Kayak, sandy beach, and dock access are included with your stay.

**Guest Requirements:**

Important: Before check-in, the primary guest must complete our Guest Verification process. This helps us comply with short-term rental regulations and provides added protection for guests and the property.

After booking, you will receive a secure link to complete verification. Please complete it prior to arrival to ensure a smooth, quick check-in.

Damage protection is required for every reservation, regardless of where you booked. During verification, you will choose one of the following options:

- $20 per night non-refundable damage waiver (recommended): no security hold and a simpler, faster process.

- $3,000 refundable security deposit: requires a hold on a card and may take several business days to release after check-out, subject to any damage charges.
