"Serendipia" en Carmel By the Sea

Tranquilo y tranquilo, a solo dos cuadras de las famosas tiendas y restaurantes de Carmel y a ocho cuadras de la playa. Esta casa está situada entre los altos árboles del Carmelo y al entrar, estará rodeado de su encanto.

Nuestra casa fue construida en los años 20 con pisos de madera y muchas antigüedades encantadoras. Hay un jardín de flores frontal con patios a ambos lados para sol o sombra.

Al entrar, encontrará una cocina bien surtida con un amplio y cómodo comedor. Hay un hermoso asiento junto a la ventana que da al patio delantero y al jardín. Un lugar perfecto para sentarse y tomar un café y leer el periódico de la mañana.

Ingrese a la gran sala donde hay un montón de espacio para que toda la familia se siente y mire la televisión y disfrute del ardiente fuego en la chimenea de piedra Carmel.

En este nivel hay un amplio dormitorio y baño (cama queen), con puertas que dan al patio delantero y al jardín. El patio trasero tiene una barbacoa de gas y asientos al aire libre. Permitimos perros para que el patio esté completamente cercado. La cubierta de arriba NO PUEDE ser utilizada. Por favor no subas las escaleras exteriores

Arriba está el dormitorio principal con cama de matrimonio y un encantador asiento junto a la ventana, con un baño completo con dos lavabos. También hay un loft con una cama doble para dormir adicional.

The location cannot be beat! Walk to everything!

We loved staying at Serendipity. We found a 5 mile circle walk, through Mission Trail Park, around the point, Carmel Beach, and back up (!) Ocean Avenue. It was fun to mix that up a bit by heading down side streets and checking out the beautiful homes. Serendipity has a lovely front courtyard with huge, old cypress tree in front of the fence, which made the upstairs bedroom seem like a tree house. Check out the window seat in the dining room, which became my coffee spot. The house is quite old and could use some refurbishing, which is why I only gave it 4 stars, but that is part of its great charm. We would definitely stay here again.

Magical Month in Carmel

This warm and relaxed home was perfect for our Carmel stay. We felt at home the instant we walked in. The home is spacious and casual with beautiful natural lighting. The host was easy to work with and accommodating. The courtyard garden was charming and beautiful with ample out door seating and a towering redwood distinguishes the front yard. The kitchen was well appointed. And we loved a fire in the fireplace at night. The location was perfect, convenient for exploring downtown and for walks to the beach. We enjoyed a magical month in Carmel and look forward to returning to Serendipity.

Unique cottage with true Carmel character, close to everything you need.

We walked every day, to the beach, to the shops, in the woods on Mission trail just up the street. Our dog came with us everywhere, so we all had a wonderful vacation. Serendipity is well equipped in the kitchen, as well as throughout the bedrooms and baths. Everything was there that we would need. Barbara responded very nearly immediately to our request for getting the DVD player to "talk" to the TV, and we were able to enjoy a number of movies that we checked out of the Carmel library. Weather permitting, there is a lovely patio with tables and chairs, where we ate a few lunches and enjoyed the bright flowers in the garden. There is adequate parking for two cars, very important! We had a great month at Serendipity.

Absolutely Perfect!

My husband and I had an extended stay at Serendipity. The location is absolutely perfect. You are just two blocks from downtown Carmel, and a short walk to the beach. The home is fully furnished with everything that you could possibly need. We had our small dog with us, and the fully fenced front and back yard was great for him. I didn't have to worry about him getting out at all. There is plenty of parking. I would highly recommend this property for a short or long term stay. The owners were great to work with.
