Conveniently located near the John C. Campbell Folk School, Wildcat Retreat is an ideal place to stay while attending classes or visiting the area. You’ll also be just minutes from Downtown Murphy, Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino, the Murphy River Walk, local restaurants, shopping, and outdoor adventures.



Relax and take in the mountain scenery from the covered decks or screened-in porch, where you can enjoy your morning coffee and keep an eye out for local wildlife. Inside, the spacious great room features a cozy stone gas fireplace, flat-screen TV, making it the perfect gathering space for family and friends.



The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. Dine together indoors or take the cooking outside to the gas grill while enjoying the panoramic mountain views.

Beautiful view! On our way to the house, after we got through the gate, we saw deer and turkey just walking around. We were able to observe them from the deck as well.Everything was nice and clean. I do wish they had a least 1 king size bed though. My husband and I were there looking for a home of our own and kept comparing them to this one!
