Sparkling clean new house with great river view on private street made for an excellent getaway. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The lot is spacious with plenty of parking. The location was perfect for our fall mid-week getaway. Our group fly-fished, kayaked Nantahala and Ocoee, bird-watched on the nearby River Trail, played pickle ball and made some great meals. Will definitely rent again.

We have stayed at the Riverhouse on the Hiwassee three times and it is always perfect. There is plenty of space for our entire family to spread out, furnishings and amenities are well thought out and in good condition, and the setting cannot be beat. It is close to Murphy but it feels like it could in another world. There is nothing like sitting on the porch with a good book and watching the river roll past. We will definitely return.

Great Place To Unwind

Great place for a family to enjoy and relax alongside the Hiawassee River. Great location, within a short drive you could be in Blueridge or Helen. Property is in a gated community which gives that extra peace of mind. Will definitely book again.

Very beautiful home but I didn’t like that there’s no blinds in most of the windows.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the beauty of the home. We followed up with the owner, who would like to address the following:- Most windows throughout the property do have blinds, and the few that do not were intentionally left uncovered to showcase the views of the Hiwassee River and the unique architectural dormers.- The listing photos accurately reflect which windows have coverings, so guests know what to expect before arrival.- We’re sorry this aspect didn’t align with your preferences and impacted your overall rating. We appreciate your stay and would love the chance to welcome you back for an even better experience in the future.

Great wedding weekend getaway

The house was exactly as described. It was spotless and in a great location. Our daughter was getting married and we were minutes from the venue. Wish we had more time to spend but was worth every minute.

Everything was great. Only thing to work on is the streaming on the tv kept cutting out. That was annoying. WiFi worked fine. House was great, location great.

Really enjoyed the house, and the river location. My only complaint was with Evolve Management Company. I wasn’t able to contact anyone with questions that I was hoping to get answered before I committed to stay. After I made the commitment, communication with the property manager was very good, but not being able to communicate prior to making the reservation would possibly keep me from using another property managed by Evolve in the future.
