8 bedroom 4 bath home with two HOT TUBs and plenty of parking

Completely remodeled in January of 2014, the Larkspur Cabin is a actually duplex with 4 bedrooms on each side. The cabin can be rented as a whole to sleep 16 or individually with the East or West side sleeping a total of 8 people (VRBO # 876444). Each side has 3 queen bedrooms and a full bath on the first floor; a fully equipped kitchen, dining room for 8 and living room on the main level; and a loft with a queen bedroom and single bed, couch and small TV in the open lounge area. Each side has its own private 7 person hot tub, deck with Weber gas grill and outdoor dining area.

The cabin has lots of parking (6 cars) and is only 50 yards from the free town of Vail bus stop, river and family friendly park making this an amazing vail vacation spot!! You can rent one half of the home separately as a 4 bedroom at our other VRBO site, www.vrbo.com/876444.

While the home is a true log cabin, the interior has been completely remodeled and has all the modern conveniences you'll need to enjoy your stay in Vail. 16 guests can comfortably sleep, cook and relax in this peaceful mountain home that is located close to town, skiing and nightlife but still quiet enough that you can relax and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings from the hot tub.

Guests will have access to parking for up to 6 cars. There are two private hot tubs! Home has 24 hour access via exterior lock box.

We live near by and can help guests with planning trips or outings during their stay. We know all the local secrets that make a stay in Vail special!

We are in a quiet residential neighborhood but only one mile from 2 grocery stores, a Sports Authority and several restaurants and bars.

We are located 200 feet from the FREE Town of Vail bus which runs every 20 minutes from 6am to 2am.

Quiet location, great property.

We stayed at Larkspur for our daughter's wedding. Had several family members staying and there was room for everyone. The house is very comfortable and accommodating. Andy and Meg were very hospitable and went out of their way to make our stay a good one. Would stay again.

The Stazel Family Review of your property

We did not find your property up to par with others that we've stayed in in the past. Firstly, both the wooden and metal tables and chairs on the patios need to be thrown out and replaced. They are weather worn and hard to play games and eat on. In the kitchens we couldn't find a baking sheet so needed to improvise. It was lovely having 2 kitchens though so that was a big plus for us. One of the beds needed to be repaired while we were there. You need some new beds and/or mattresses. The kitchen and dining room areas were nice. We appreciated Andy's willingness to help out with issues such as the hot tub so having you next door was very nice. We would most likely not stay there again as we prefer an updated home rather than a rustic one. We really appreciate that you worked with us to come a few hours early on our first day. It made us feel like we almost had an extra day. Meg and Andy were very easy to work with which always helps the customer feel appreciated.

Nice hosue and friendly host

A group of us (4 families and 16 in total) stayed here during the Christmas week. The house (a duplex) is more than adequate to accommodate all of us. Andy is a fantastic host, responsive and very patient. Helped us settle in and provided helpful info on lay of the land and some practical tips on dining options, transportation, parking, etc, - trivial but extremely useful. The house is within walking distance to the bus station (15-20 min to Vail village, 20-22 min back) - We ended up taking the bus most of our ski days. The hot tub on property was awesome, especially after a day of hard skiing.

Just what we needed!

I was a member of a team of 12 people that ran the Colorado Ragnar Relay in August. The 200-mile running event started at Copper Mountain and ended in Aspen/Snowmass. We needed a place to stay before, during, and after the relay so we rented the 2 back-to-back homes. They were exactly what we needed and more! They were very clean, comfortable, and quaint and were situated in a great neighborhood that was close to everything we needed (stores, restaurants, etc.). Our only disappointment was that we couldn't spend more time in the homes because we were out and about so much. The owners (Meg and Andrew) were very responsive and provided us with all the information we needed to make our trip easy and memorable. I would definitely recommend these homes to anyone looking for a great place to stay in a great area.

We are in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by mountains that has the Free Town of Vail bus stop 200 feet from out front door. There is a river and large park with sledding and a kids playground 100 yards from the home. We are on the bike path that takes you to town and 1/2 mile from restaurants, bars and grocery stores (2).
