Provides tranquility and joyful experience
What makes this House unique
Boundless panoramic views of the blue sea and colorful sky; the soothing delight of watching the endless delights of this massive God's creation, including the little white waves created by the coral reefs below the property; and the endless beautiful portrait of water as it changes its shades of blue and green punctuated by the sea traffic of cruise ships, ferry boats, and sail boats as they pass-by to and from the harbor of Charlotte Amalie, The building architecture is another source of delight; it embodies a Caribbean flavor of open rafter ceilings, Spanish balusters that sound the house, some Roman architecture, decks and more deck space to enjoy as one explores the leisurely thoughts of the mind.

Beautiful home overlooking the ocean
Our experience with this rental was really good. The house was easy to find and had an exclusiveness about it. It easily held our family of 8. The pool was great for lounging around at. Dr K was very hospitable to us and helped us stay within our budget. The rooms each had great ac that kept us comfortable at night. The refrigerator went out and was replaced the very next day. My only disappointment was there was no ac in the main living room. We spent each of our days out at a beach so it wasn’t too bad at night with the fans going. Overall this home is amazing and we would definitely stay again! Thank you for letting us stay in your home.
We had our family at The Little Taj for 17 glorious days! What can I say this place was amazing. Beautiful Views, Great House, Great Weather and Family!
The pool was very nice, the house was great, the kitchen was in good order, very clean when we arrived.
The beach down below, you had to get to it using a path through the trees and brush, but it only took about 5 minutes to get down (15 minutes to get back up with 2 little kids). The Abi Beach bar was no longer there, but we found that most days we had the beach to ourselves (which was amazing)!
Marcus (Property Manager), greeted us at the airport and was kind and polite. Also throughout the stay we were able to text or call Marcus with questions and he was always very prompt at getting back to us and giving us the information we requested. Very nice person, and very good with our children!
If you have a chance to visit the Little Taj please do, you will not regret your stay!
We enjoyed our stay - Mayrose was fantastic to us!!
Amazing place-amazing stay
My siblings, nieces, nephew, and my family stayed at Little Taj July 3-10...all 18 of us! And it was fantastic. The name suits the villa well. We were all impressed by the villa, it’s panaramic views of the ocean, the layout, and it’s amenities. It feels very grand. My family and I had stayed at Little Taj in 2014 and really enjoyed it then, so we were very impressed by the upgrades. There’s AC in all the bedrooms, all the supplies (pots, pans, dishes, utensils) we needed to cook our meals at home and we even used the grill outside to grill some Korean BBQ and steak. The villa was roomy enough for all of us and we never felt crowded or cramped. I would catch my siblings sitting outside early in the morning sipping coffee and watching the scenery and listening to the ocean. Each family within my siblings had their own bedrooms. My brother even used the nice baby crib at the villa for his 1 yr old son. With 11 kids in our party, we spent, literally every day at a new beach and it was fantastic! The beaches are of course beautiful and picture perfect. An extra bonus is that there is also a nice, secluded, beach that is just a 5 minute walk from the villa. We also took a ferry to St John to go to Trunk Bay. Wake up relaxed, go to the beach all day, go home, eat dinner, rinse, and repeat...every day...what a wonderful life. My older nephew and a few of the other kids used the pool at Little Taj almost every day. It was a good size and depth for the kiddies. It was an ideal vacation. Dr. Kabuka has been like family to us since our very first stay and he’s helped make my family’s vacation a wonderful one. I can’t thank him enough for his kindness and generosity. It was affordable, fun, relaxing, and beautiful. Marcus, his property manager is very nice, helpful and patient. He met my family at the airport to help us find our way to Little Taj. Unfortunately we were all stuck at the airport dealing with car rental delays for 2 hrs and Marcus was as patient as ever waiting for us by the airport the whole time!
The only issue we had was that most of us were being bitten by insects (sand flies? Mosquitos?) but we’re not sure which ones. Bringing deet spray/big repellants, especially to the beaches and when we were outside, were very helpful.
We will certainly return for more family vacations at Little Taj.
Contributing to happy family vacation experiences like those of this group makes hosting a blessing for us. We look forward to hosting them again for the third time.

GREAT VILLA on St Thomas
We had a group of 11 stay this month (6 adults, 5 kids from age 8-16). Plenty of room and the covered deck was awesome.
Would definitely recommend a rental car which is convenient enough to get around. 5 min to town, 20 min to Red hook. Great location !
Short walk to ABI Beach which we had to ourselves most days. Chad and Anna there are great. Went diving with Aquamarine and they too were great.
Spent a day in BVI as well with Lion in Da’Sun charters and as always our best day down there.
Fished with captain Alvin charters basically righ in front of the villa. Caught plenty for dinner.
The location made all of these possible with a short drive.
While the storms have caused me and gone, the people and the beach s are still there and they need the tourists. Go, stay at little Taj and you won’t be disappointed.
Solomon and Markus did everything possible to make us feel welcomed and comfortable.
Really great house, really great views, really close to a lot of activities.
Dr. Kabuka goes out of his way to welcome you to his beautiful home that is perched on the cliffs of Bellevue, St. Thomas, with panoramic views. While some hurricane damage was incurred, the main living area, swimming pool and surrounding decks are what makes Little Taj By-the-Sea a great place for relaxing, enjoying the sun, family/friends meals together, and much more. Dr. Kabuka, his caretaker Marcus and construction crews are busy with repairs to apartment rental parts on the property. We rented our van from Avis (Airport) and had no problems driving around the island. Grocery stores are close by for stocking up on your favorite foods/drinks to enjoy. Also, many restaurants have reopened and offer great Caribbean fare. A local place to hike to from the property is Abi's Beach Bar. Great drinks, live music and an all day buffet for $16 on Thursday and Saturday is a bargain and you will get to meet locals and other travelers. This location is also about 15 minutes from Red Hook where you can either take the passenger or car ferry over to St. John for the day.
It is always a blessing to host guests like this group which enjoyed practically just about every joyful experience my property and the island have to offer. We look forward to having them back when the island is fully recovered.
Secluded sparsely occupied neighborhood providing a tranquil environment. Warm/temperate weather all year round.
A walk down to any of the three beaches, topped off with a dive in the warm Caribbean water sets the pace for the day or a fitting closing to a day full of shopping at Heaven Site Dock Mall, or the tourists' shopping Mecca downtown Charlotte Amalie, or Tutu Mall the local residents' favorite shopping; or could be the end of a day touring of St Thomas' unending scenic delights of hills and mountain views, the local vendors bazaar, water sports, enjoying the local cooking and select restaurants or whatever your fancy.
