Beautiful, spotless, perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely loved this shotgun house! It was perfect for a family of four. The house was super clean and very well-maintained and had all the necessary amenities. The owner was awesome, provided all the necessary info prior to checking in, and then followed up to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The location was perfect; we walked to City Park every day. We had no issues with parking on the street; we actually found parking right in front of the house the entire time we were there. Would definitely stay there again on our next trip to New Orleans and would definitely recommend to friends and relatives!

Awesome Home !

  • 5 of 5

My family and I were very impressed, very clean and up to date. The location of the home was sensational with City Park just a couple of blocks away as well as the street car line being within walking distance. Everything we needed was already in the home to make our stay wonderful. Steve and Brian were very helped and responsive during the process and the hospitality was much appreciated!

ALL ACCESS!!!!

  • 4 of 5

Our five night stay at Brian and Steve's home was a success. Everything was easy and convient, check in and check out was well explained and payment was made without any complication. Our rental was immaculately cleaned, beds comfortable, kitchen well maintained . We were able to explore every inch of the city of New Orleans from this location and became very familiar with the City Park with so much to do there!!!! The only thing that kept us from giving an excellent rating was that there was no off street parking which became challenging returning in the evening time sometime having to park down the street or onto a side street . Be very aware of the 3 foot rule as not to receive a parking ticket which I did . ...

Great House, Excellent Location!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved it.

Communication, check in, and payment were clear and conveniant.

The house is within walking distance to the park which is wonderful. We highly recommend Morning Call there in the park for coffee and beignets. It was much less crowded than Cafe du Monde and the service was excellent. The house is also within walking distance of the street car which we recommend for going downtown. We used uber as well.

The house has a full kitchen, washer and dryer and two full bedrooms. We would highly recommend it.

Owner's Response: Although we do not have off-street parking, we do generally have sufficient and safe on-street parking either on our block or the blocks adjacent to ours. All standard parking regulations apply for our neighborhood: * Parking is prohibited within 15 feet of a fire hydrant. * Parking is prohibited within 20 feet of intersections, crosswalks or stop signs. * Parking is prohibited against the flow of traffic. * Parking is prohibited within 3 feet of a driveway on either side. * Parking is prohibited on a parade route 2 hours before the parade start time. Thanks!

We loved this house!

  • 5 of 5

To be honest…I was a little nervous about renting a home vs. a typical hotel that we choose when coming to NOLA. All of my family and friends were asking me was I sure about what I was getting myself into and etc. My three teenagers and I read every review, carefully went over ever picture and decided to take the plunge. Boy are we glad we did! This property and experience has been wonderful for me and my family and has exceeded our expectations. From Brian’s smooth transaction and communication for the payment process to Steve’s easy going check in/meet & greet, even providing “ins” on local eateries…the entire process was very easy and comfortable. The awesome property provides that normal flow of a house even away on vacation. You have space enough for all to spread out, a fully stocked kitchen with top of the line appliances (better than my home), comfortable beds and bedding and the all-important washer/dryer! Did I mention the entire house has been upgraded and has a very modern feel, no mess, very clean, beautiful kitchen and awesome bathroom! Don’t be surprised when you open a cabinet, because you will definitely find whatever you are looking for. Brian & Steve have really taken the time to make this place feel like home.

Aside from the house, the location is spot on! We had everything within a 5 minute radius: coffee house, breakfast, grocery store, pizza, local bar(s), burger spot, you name it. Once we got our bearings down, the main strand leading you to Bourbon St. is literally a 10-15 minute drive and 2 turns. You feel that you are off the beaten path to enjoy some peace, but so close when you’re ready to hit the town…So, need I say location-location –location!

Words can’t express how comfortable we were and the bar has been set really high when it comes to home rentals anywhere else we go outside NO. There’s no doubt, we will be right back here each and every time we hit the city! Looking forward to our next stay, thanks again (Brian&Steve) for everything 

Great house and location

  • 5 of 5

We wanted something near City Park so my husband could run and I could walk. It was great. We rented a car and were able to park it on the street. The house was perfect for the two of us. We really spread out in all the space. The furnishings were comfortable, the towels thick, the decor simple and tasteful. The house was very clean and did not smell musty at all. We didn't end up cooking, but the kitchen looked very well appointed. There was a washer and dryer as well, but we didn't need it. The onsite manager, Steve, was helpful and not intrusive. Working with Brian, his brother, on the payment was smooth. We explored NOLA and its environs very happily, even visited three restaurants nearby: Mo Pho, Bud's Broilers, and the Beachcorner. Mo Pho is excellent; Bud's Broilers is good for a late-night recovery burger, as is the Beachcorner. The only thing I missed from being in a hotel was there was no kleenex or umbrellas, but that's a small quibble. Overall a quiet, clean respite in this at times overwhelming city.
