About Amanda Baxter
We built the cabins on our farm in 2000. We are two miles from the VA Horse Center. These cabins are ideal for people showing horses at the Horse Center because we are two miles away. Only 5 miles from downtown Lexington.
Amanda Baxter purchased this Cabin in 2000
Why Amanda Baxter chose Lexington
You feel like you are way out in the country because of the surrounding farms and pastures yet you are minutes from downtown Lexington. We have the best of both worlds. The views of the Blue Ridge are beautiful.

Quiet, quiet, quiet . . . and great views.
Spent three days in the cabin for VMI graduation week and had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean and fully stocked with all we needed. Should have stayed here more often during our visits to Lexington.
cute, clean, comfortable
Enjoyed our stay at this adorable cabin. The views are great from the porch, very serene. Convenient location ( just a few miles to town and other attractions) yet off the beaten path. We will definitely be back.
Had a fantastic time at Lazy Acres! Very close to town but out of the way enough to feel like you are getting away. Great place to put away the electronics and spend some family time together. Amanda was great. We felt very welcome. The place was so clean and well kept. Definitely recommend!
Absolutely perfect with stunning views!
nice cabin and views. only problem were the insects.
I'm sorry you had ants in the cabin. We have rectified that problem now and I hope you will try us again.
We rented the cabin for a weekend away from the DC hustle and bustle. Bringing our dog is also important to us. Our weekend was filled with rain, but that did not stop the charming and coziness of the cabin. Overlooking the fields and mountains, the views were awesome. The cabin is set far enough off the road that you do not hear any noise. Bed was comfy, and shower pressure was great. We look forward to coming here again, hopefully with better weather.
Well I hope you get better weather next time too. Thank you.
