About the property

House, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 6

Looking for a winter-wonderland getaway or a summer adventure? Either way, this beautiful and comfortable two-bedroom, two-bath Sunriver vacation home has everything you need to enjoy the varied scenery and distinct seasons of Central Oregon.

This Sunriver Resort home is located one mile out of town, and is just minutes away from a vast array of activities. In summer, you may enjoy fishing, boating or swimming in the Deschutes River, as well as hiking or biking on nearby trails, or even golfing or horseback-riding. And make sure to visit the amazingly fun SHARC Aquatic Center, because six free passes are included! In winter, skiing or snowboarding on Mt. Bachelor is only 25 miles away, but you likely won't have to go that far to enjoy the snow - the hiking trails are now more suited for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing!

The house itself has ample space to bring the whole family (up to six people), including the dog (a small nightly fee applies)! The home is decorated in warm colors, outdoor themes and lots of wood, so you will feel right at home here. The beautiful, wood-burning fireplace is the focal point of the living room, though a flatscreen TV with cable and a DVD player is tucked away in the corner. The dining room has plenty of space for a family meal, but cooking outside with the grill on the deck is also an appealing option.

The lucky person (or two) staying in the master bedroom will find a king-size bed and a private bathroom, and the second bedroom contains a queen-size bed. The house also has a sun-drenched loft with three twin beds (a bunk and an additional bed) and a TV for late-night movies. In the morning, enjoy coffee or hot chocolate in front of the fire or outside on the deck while you plan your adventure-filled day.

As well as being near the river and a majestic mountain, this resort community has so many activity options on-site. But don't forget that you're only 15 miles south of Bend, which is known for its breweries and also has spectacular restaurants and museums.

Whether you're looking for a warm and cozy winter cabin or a place to enjoy the desert summer, this house will make a perfect home base for your adventure-filled, outdoor Central Oregon vacation!

About Vacasa, OR - Central Oregon Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Further from village than we anticipated

 • 3 of 5

Enjoyed the free SHARC passes to the pool! And in the summer this home would be great for little ones as the Fort Rock park is in walking distance. Also this home has nice backyard for kids to explore and build forts with sticks/rocks.
In the winter, the upstairs room gets super hot compared to rest of house and upstairs bedroom faces driveway so noises from neighbors pretty loud. The bunk beds upstairs are in a open loft area but snug and tucked away behind half wall.

Lovely, cozy, rustic home. Plenty of room for a family or 2 couples. Great location and plenty to do in Sunriver! I would love to come for the summer to see what it will be like in the area. Will be back!
Thanksgiving 9 Cedar Lane

 • 4 of 5

We had the best time although the weather did not cooperate! We wanted snow and got rain. Oh well, it is Oregon! We packed all Thanksgiving feast to heat up and eat in Sunriver. We were allowed early check in, so that was great. The house was neat, clean and cozy. Everything was wonderful. I would have given a 5 star, but I only have 1 complaint. The oven, which was an older model, was different than any I have used. I had to test different settings to see which one is the proper one to use. Anyway, I only wish there were instructions handy so I wouldn't have had to waste so much time experimenting. Other than that everything was great... The beds, in fact were VERY comfy!!! I am sure we will be back especially since I have mastered the oven. Thanks!!!

Oregon City

Ok for the price

 • 3 of 5

This home is decorated beautifully and beds are comfortable with plenty of cozy blankets. The kitchen is stocked adequately for cooking. The home was clean and ready when we arrived. There are passes for the pool which is a nice extra though it was too cold to use them.

A few negatives that affected our perception of the home:

-Front door is very difficult to unlock or lock. The lock or key should be replaced. This is unacceptable in a rental.

-Two sliding doors that do not lock and are "locked" by having a stick in the track. Again these should be repaired or replaced.

-We appreciate being able to bring our pet and pay extra to do so but carpet or furniture in the living room smelled of urine. Deeper cleaning needed here.

Overall it is a nice home and could be better with a few upgrades.
