Highly Recommend!

  • 4 of 5

My family spent four nights here and although Duluth was a wonderful place to visit, our trip highlight was staying in this rental house! The house was awesome and the hosts were very accommodating- from fresh baked cookies on our arrival, to flowers brought and the firewood box always full. The grounds were beautiful with so many whimsical touches. We loved the screened in porch and swimming in the river was so cool! We can't wait to come back!

magical cabin in the woods, perfect for kids

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely stay. We especially loved hiking around the property and doing the scavenger hunt. The property is beautiful and the owners were welcoming. We had the kids sleep in the loft and we slept down stairs which gave us some privacy, though the loft meant we had to be quiet to help the kids sleep. We cooked our meals ourselves. There is no dishwasher, which was fine with us. Overall we give it 5 stars! We hope to return again.

The perfect North Shore Hideaway

  • 5 of 5

We cannot say enough about the positive experience we had staying at Singing Waters. First off, Stacey and Shellie were the best of hosts, making us feel so welcome and comfortable staying at their beautiful home. The fresh baked cookies added such a sweet first impression and we immediately felt at home and had so much fun finding all the special Whimsical decorations inside and outside of the house.

I don't know what we favored more: The screened in porch for morning coffee, the bonfire for late night drinks or the Cabana Bed for daytime book reading. Completely happy with everything about this stay and will be reserving several weekends next year as well. Thank you both for everything, and we are going to grab Shellie for bonfire laughs when we come back in the spring for another girls getaway!

Great north country getaway

  • 5 of 5

b Our family of 6 likes to go to the Duluth area at least once a year, especially in the fall of the year. We have lodged in most options available and decided to try a vacation rental by owner this year. I'm so glad this was our first experience with this type of rental. No hassle, easy booking, friendly owners, about the easiest and least stressful vacation a family could want, that was just the booking side of the vacation! As for the location and accommodations, I would say it was about perfect for a stay in the north country. The wooded location on the river was amazing, the guest house was warm and inviting( although we didn't spend a lot of time indoors, honestly this property has so much to see and do outdoors)and had everything we as a family of 6 (kids from 13-3) needed!

We don't really rest and relax on vacation and that's why singing waters guest house was perfect for us. We did all the hiking and sightseeing and running around that we normally do, and then at the end of the day we didn't have to go back to a hotel room or some cramped cabin! Actually, we looked forward to getting back, making a fire in the fire pit and watching a movie after we finally watched the sun set!

We will definitely be back, only next time we will stay longer, there are still some trails on the property that haven't been "adventured" like my boys would say!

Owner's Response: Hi Jared, We thoroughly enjoyed having your family stay with us. We couldn't agree more that the autumn season is the very best time to visit, it's like everything is in high definition! Please come back and let those boys do some 'adventuring!'😀🌲🍃🌾 We'll keep everything ready for you. S & S

A Quiet Getaway

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway and Singing Waters was just the place. We were close enough to enjoy the bustle of Duluth and were still able to escape to the quiet beauty a little house in the woods.
