Jeff and Diana (owners) enjoy the beach, shopping, watching for dolphin and manatee and cycling. Unfortunately, we cannot live here full-time.
Owner purchased this Cottage in 2007
Why Owner chose Longbeach Village
Love the historic neighborhood and proximity to our beautiful beach.
What makes this Cottage unique
Just a short walk to the beach. Close to great shopping and cultural attractions in Sarasota and Tampa.
Sports & Adventure Activities
I feel like we paid a bit much for the stay. It wasn't quite a short walk to the beach. As it was more convenient to drive if you wanted to bring anything with you. I.e. Coolers, umbrellas. It is a nice quiet location. We didn't use anything outside. Everything seemed to be pretty clean. The beds were very comfortable. I don't think I would stay here again personally, but not a bad property especially for a family with kids.
This is a darling cottage, truly a rustic gem! Close enough to Anna Maria to enjoy that area without the daily hassle of traffic (call the Monkey Bus), and in the heart of historic Longbeach -- perfect for walks, watching the sunrise over the bay and the sunset over the Gulf at Whitney Beach. Well stocked and comfortable, nice large deck with table and chairs, grill, and privacy. Walk to Longbeach Café for breakfast and Mar Vista for dinner. Owner Diana was accommodating and very pleasant to work with.
