Located across from the beach path and with panoramic views of the wildlife refuge, Om Away from Home offers a comfortable home base for a fabulous vacation. You're just steps away from gentle surf for swimming and a beautiful sandy beach for your morning runs or sunset walks. Living is easy with outdoor shower, comfortable furniture indoors and out, and both upper and lower decks with gorgeous sunset views.

The house is raised on pilings with the main level one flight up, and features an open floor plan, soaring ceilings in great room and primary BR, and lots of windows and skylights for a bright and airy feeling. Central Air. Fully equipped, newly renovated kitchen with island. Large flat screen TV in living room and main bedroom. Cable, Wi-Fi, and Bose Bluetooth sound.

Step out onto the private rear deck from the kitchen/dining area and relax on comfortably cushioned furniture while sipping morning coffee or cool drinks at sunset. Remote-controlled awning for afternoon sunshade comfort. It's a perfect perch for bird-watching. Or relax on chaises or the hammock on the deck below.

We provide 3 kayaks at Om Broadkill Beach house for your use. Or bring your own. Launch right from our private dock!

Sleeps 6 in comfortable beds, with 7th, 8th and 9th possible on the pull-out single in living room and the queen sleeper sofa in the new loft.

King bed in the spacious upper level primary bedroom with sunrise views over the bay and a private balcony with bay views. Need a quiet corner for work or writing? A large desk with a comfortable desk chair in the upper bedroom provides the setting. Adjacent tiled bathroom with walk-in shower and over-sized whirlpool tub.

A few steps from the primary bedroom is the new loft space with big windows looking out to gorgeous views of Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge. With a queen sleep sofa, this space is also referred to as Bedroom #4.

Bedroom #2 on main level has a King bed and a comfy chair with ottoman. Bedroom #3 has a Queen bed and lovely water views. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms.

Beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach toys, kiddie pool, and a gas barbecue grill are provided. Game and puzzle closet and book library too.

For a change of pace from Broadkill Beach's tranquility, try the free tour and tasting at Dogfish Head Brewery in Milton. Rehoboth Beach's boardwalk, shops, restaurants, nightlife, and acres of tax-free outlet shopping are a short drive away. Even closer are the historic and charming towns of Milton and Lewes with many restaurants, shops, and Farmers' Market.

It's a bit surprising that with the cities of Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. only a couple of hours away, Broadkill Beach somehow remains uncrowded, unhurried, and something of a hidden treasure... Just right for a dreamy beach vacation.
