We loved the loft!

  • 5 of 5

My son and I stayed in the two bedroom loft for two nights. It has a great layout, and we felt right at home. There is a table to dine at, refrigerators and microwaves in each bedroom, the beds were cozy, and the bathroom was fully stocked with towels. The décor is awesome with the vintage skis and sleds. Thank you for providing the cocoa and coffee!

Owner's Response: I was pleased to hear how much your son enjoyed staying at the Loft. Thank you for sharing what you enjoyed about it. The owners did a fantastic job staging this place. They captured the theme perfect for all our guests especially visiting the Olympic National Park. The custom ski headboard is very unique, vintage skis and sleds. You'll definitely be glad you stayed at the Loft. Thank you for your review we hope you'll be able to come visit us again.

Great location for base camp to Olympic National Park

  • 5 of 5

June 2016 We arrive early and met Toga and Lisa (nicest people ever, we felt like we bonded) at their lovely restaurant below the loft where we had a wonderful lunch and were graciously given access. The loft was beautiful, roomy, well laid out and well equipped, most importantly it was very clean. The loft is for those who are out to explore the national park and all of the great locations the area has to offer (far too many to list)It may not be for those who just want to sit around as it isnt set up to cook or to lounge around outside ( it does sit atop of a business). But for those looking for a "basecamp" it is ideal and we certainly would recommend this to anyone..Have a great day and enjoy your stay.Rodney and Jan mibbs

Good value & location

  • 5 of 5

The loft was a super cool space - two rooms to choose from, and we found it to be very comfortable and quiet at night. Convenient location to downtown restaurants and the ferry. Short drive up to Hurricane Ridge (well worth the views). The shower was a fine for us, but a bit small - also had to wrestle with the shower head a bit to keep it pointed the right direction - sort of a game :-) All in all, this was a great location & good value for our stay around the Port Angeles area / visiting the Olympic Peninsula. Would stay again.

Owner's Response: Thank you very much for your review. I'm pleased you were able to sight see and enjoy the National Park and Victoria while staying in Port Angeles. Since you are the first to mention the shower head I'll definitely check it out. Perhaps after cleaning the bathroom and shower I could of not put the shower head back in the right position. In the future I'll try and be more careful.

Cozy and Kid Friendly

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at the loft. Not only was it adorable and cozy inside, but it had thoughtful additions to help make it fun and safe for kids, including: baby gates on the stairs and board books in the rooms. The restaurant downstairs is one of our favorites in town and we greatly enjoyed our visit. We'll definitely be back!

Truly Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

An old friend and I shared the Ridge View Base Camp Loft for four nights as a "base camp" for our explorations in and around Olympic National Park. It was well-appointed, clean, and very comfortable. Toga and the staff at the restaurant were great, they were so nice and gave us some great tips about things to see in the park--and the food at Toga's was beyond amazing. I highly recommend the Ridge View Base Camp Loft if you're looking for a place that's a little "different" (in a very good way!) and you want to stay somewhere that feels like home.
