Upscale Hunting Shack
My son, grandson, and I were immediately impressed with this cabin in the woods. The kitchen had everything a modern kitchen has, including nice silverware, pots and pans, glasses, bowls, cups, dishes, saucers, and all appliances. We really liked the middle island where we gathered to eat our meals. Plenty of hot water for dishes and hot showers. After long days deer hunting, it was nice to sit with a good book and spiced cider in front of the fireplace. A wonderful time.
Would recommend this cabin to anyone, was fully stocked and very comfortable. Close to a lot of trails and beautiful scenery. Very pet friendly!
Beautiful setting close to Lake Superior
What a beautiful place! Loved the quiet setting, close walk to the lake. The cabin had everything you need. Was very clean and nice big kitchen. Bedrooms were small but you only need it for sleeping. Bed was very comfortable! The town is quiet and close to lots of places to hike and enjoy nature. It’s also close enough to Bayfield if you want to do some shopping and the drive there has incredible scenery. If you want a quiet area away from the touristy area of Bayfield, this is the place to be!
Within walking distance to the lake, to a town with many interesting yards and houses, great little art store and and "The Store" which has about anything except hard booze - smoked fish and beer and all you need for cabin eats and treats. The cabin is super clean, great kitchen, comfy bed, nice pebble floored shower, decent selection of old movies you always meant to view just one more time. Decorated throughout with touches that send you off on memories and wanderings. Who would not want to pause here for a few reflections? For energetic youth and adults, canoes to explore the vast waterways. ATV's buzz the road outside, but only on Saturdays.
Quiet Family Retreat
Perfect, cozy fall getaway for our family of six. There was something here for everyone including canoes, hammocks, firewood, board games, movies, comfortable bedding and even wifi for the teen. This clean cottage is filled with thoughtful touches! And when we weren't at the cottage we were fly-fishing on the Brule nearby, hiking to Lost Creek Falls, and exploring the south shore beaches. We look forward to making this cottage our home away from home every fall. Thank you so much!
Lived up to the pictures!
Nice cottage ... clean, nicely decorated, all the amenities you could want. Really liked the kitchen. I would definitely stay again.
