Peaceful and relaxing.

  • 5 of 5

I found the lake house to be clean, well equipped and comfortable. Unfortunately because of the extremely hot temperatures, I found myself spending more time at the house because it was too hot to venture out with my dog to hike. The property is lovely, we sat on the deck and in the yard in the shade and thoroughly relaxed. The deer visit daily and were a joy to watch. The fish were biting, but I didn't catch anything. Monica was terrific, checking in to see that everything was O.K. I'd stay here again and highly recommend it for your next vacation.

Beautiful view, nice fireplace and grill, uncomfortable bed

  • 4 of 5

Cute clean cabin, everything you need except BYO towels, sheets, wood/charcoal. King bed was hard as a rock. If you have a mattress topper, I suggest you bring it if you want to sleep through the night. Would suggest they replace it- a cheap memory foam for under $300 would be a world of improvement- try Overstock! Easy to get in and easy to contact Property Management. Very close to Weis (grocery/beer/RedBox), and Wine and Spirits.

Good value

  • 5 of 5

This is a cozy little 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house which is only 10 minutes away from Camelback Resort. I stayed here for a weekend and I enjoyed how close it was to Camelback, easy drive to go snowboarding. The owner is very nice and polite. I would stay here again.

Cozy romantic cabin with an awesome location

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at this cozy and romantic cabin on Alpine Lake and we loved it! It had all we needed (we are simple folk) and we spent much of our time on the wonderful deck. The location was great, right on the lake with fishing and kayaking-perfect! The cabin is isolated enough for privacy, but close to Tannersville for shopping, restaurants, etc. Monica was really great to work with and a gracious host. We highly recommend this cabin for a romantic fun stay.

Dirty and neglected

  • 1 of 5

DO NOT RENT this cabin. It does NOT get cleaned between every rental but you WILL pay the cleaning fee. The pictures you see here are old and inaccurate. We couldn't stay in the filth and left 2 days early which ruined our trip. Here is what we experienced:

A foul, musty smell in cabin.

Piles of dirt all over floors.

Old food on floor

Dog hair all over floors and furniture.

Sticky food on kitchen counters.

Handprints and lip-prints on all windows.

Dirty bathroom.

Clogged drain in sink.

Clogged drain in shower which creates standing water.

Foul smell from bedroom air conditioner.

Spiderwebs all over.

Most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in!

Unable to access wifi because the owner doesn't know the correct password.

The boats are not in working use.

Owner's Response: Kelli, Please LOOK AT ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE AND AFTER your inaccurate review. All these guests gave great reviews. The photos are accurate and the cleaning between EVERY guest is exceptional. When you checked out one day early due to rain and requested a 75% refund, I explained to you that wasn't an option. Then you threatened to leave a scathing review if I didn't give you a refund. I'm speechless. Thanks
