Close-in Beautiful Retreat: Large, Lodge-Like Private Lakefront Setting

Experience instant relaxation as you enter this gorgeous 4,200 sq ft 4-bedroom lakefront guest home near Seattle/Bellevue/Tacoma. Situated on 10 acres and 800 feet of waterfront the property connects to a 42 acre preserved forest to explore. Share stories around the fire-pit at night, BBQ on gas grill and enjoy breathtaking views of meadow and lake. Take a lake tour in sailboat, canoe or rowboat. Bring boots and hike through natural meadow and second-growth forest. Enjoy a floating waterslide while you swim in the clean waters of Shadow Lake. Inside enjoy a large HD plasma Smart TV with Xfinity, ping pong, foosball, gas fireplace and a library of books. Refrigerator/freezer for your food and plenty of pantry space . Put your feet up and stay awhile! (Note the small apartment on left is not part of the rental and is not included in the description herein).

Our rates include up to 8 people. Any additional people are an extra charge-- this includes children. Infants can be excluded from the count.

**We allow OUTDOOR EVENTS ONLY of less than 100 people. Regardless of weather, the entire event must take place outside and must use the provided portable toilets, as there is a septic system not suitable for events. Additional event fees and regulations are also required, and all events are required to be approved ahead of time. We reserve the right to limit the amount of events held on our property.

No outside loud music/noise after 10:00 pm.

We held a retreat here for 20 and it was lovely. Great meeting spaces in and out. Serene, lovely not far from Seattle. Would love it if there were more beds so more people could stay instead of driving back to the city but would love to come back!

We were visiting the area for just two days. A longer trip is necessary to really enjoy the lovely home, beautiful setting and all the amenities provided, including sailboat, kayaks, game room, etc. We even woke up to deer strolling across the property. This property worked very well for our family vacation! We did bring child proof door handle covers to keep the kids from wandering down to the lake without us. We LOVED watching the eagles and swimming in the lake (and the water slide). The owner was very communicative and accommodating!

Absolutely beautiful home and property. Very comfortable and peaceful. Everything you could possibly need was available and more!I rented this for myself, children and grandchildren as we were attending my husband's Memorial Service at Tahoma National Cemetery. Amazing Wedding Venue

Holly was amazing and helpful when needed. The house was great and very spacious and beautiful. We used it for our wedding venue and it was perfect. The event fee is very reasonable and you also have the option to have a dance floor and canopy tent added as well. The house has a lot of extra accommodations in case you forget your toiletries or cooking items. Overall great experience and very beautiful house and grounds.

Beautiful event location

We had our wedding here with about 45 guests, and it was absolutely perfect. Even in the unexpected June rain, the property was gorgeous and our guests were delighted by the wildlife and the fire pit. The house is very spacious and was great for hosting family from out of town. Holly was helpful and accommodating. My only regret is that we didn't book a longer stay - hopefully we'll be back sometime to enjoy the lake without the stress of a wedding.

This is one of the most beautiful settings in the State, with 800 feet of private waterfront and only 40 minutes from Seattle, 35 minutes from Bellevue and Tacoma. The view is unobstructed meadow and lakefront framed by the protected forest. Newer lodge-like residence with room for large family gatherings and special celebrations with friends. Live music allowed.

The lake water is very clean for swimming, the wide view is all natural as the west side of the lake has been protected from development. Watch deer graze in the quiet setting.
