Open concept living/dining area w/cathedral ceiling overlooking the water with stunning sunrise views. Beautiful rustic style and modern design kitchen. Two bedrooms on first floor plus a loft with a broad view of the water. Updated rustic modern bathroom includes a bathtub. Nicely wooded lot with a gradual slope to shore. Sandy entry into water. Dock at shore. Short ride to Naples causeway and area activities. Good fishing, boating and swimming. Lovely large deck and a shore side fire pit. On site Parking for two cars. This is a peaceful spot. The water is one of the highest rated for quality in the state. Private dead-end road. It has both a charcoal and a gas grille.

Bring your own sheets and towels. There are three full size beds and one queen size.

Spring and Fall travelers will take advantage of the wood burning stove and supplied cord wood.

Amazing Stay!

We could not have enjoyed our time at Jim and April's cottage more! The cottage was very nice and spending time on the lake was special. It was super easy to communicate with Jim. We would highly recommend this place.

Great stay at Gladview!

Wonderful property inside and out. Jim was a great host and responded to our questions quickly. There’s plenty to do at Trickey Pond, We made use of the kayaks and SUPs and had fires in the pit. We found some nearby hiking trails and really appreciated our dogs being allowed to stay with us. Thanks Jim and April!

Wonderful Stay

We stayed over Fourth of July week and had a wonderful stay. The cottage was perfect for us, a family of three with a dog. Trickey Pond is beautiful and peaceful. The house was equipped with all you need along with 2 grills; charcoal and gas, a SUP and kayaks. Location was great- about 10-15 minutes away from Naples causeway, but honestly, we really just enjoyed sitting on the dock or porch and swimming. We hope to go back again!

Perfect spot to decompress

Gladview Cottage was the perfect spot for my wife and I (and our dog) to relax over the week of Labor Day. Such a beautiful location. Weather was perfect for getting out on the kayaks and paddleboards. Stairs to the water made it easy for our dog to get in and go swimming (he's not one to jump off the dock). Enjoyed sitting by the fire at night. We will definitely be back.

Relaxing

We are all looking forward to a time away in Maine and this hit the spot. The location felt remote but still accessible to restaurants and stores. Our dogs were able to unwind. We couldn’t stop taking picture of the water. It has changed our opinions of lakes. The water was so clear. The fire pit and the wood stove were great places to gather. We highly recommend it.

Wonderful property

We had a fantastic visit at Glad View. Jim and April were there to meet us and show us around. The house was lovely and exactly as described. The neighborhood was convenient and secluded. The lake is pristine and we almost felt like we had the whole thing to ourselves since it was so quiet and not during peak summer months. Hearing the loons and seeing the Milky Way from the dock on our first night was truly incredible. Internet is strong (at times we had 4 people on Zoom thanks to remote work and school). We will definitely try to get back to Glad View for another visit!

It was perfect I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay

From the moment we arrived it was amazing, Jim was so friendly and so nice. The house and property well that is another story it was beyond what we expected, my family was so excited when they finally got to see where I booked our stay. Once we got settled in we felt like we were home, we had everything we basically needed there to enjoy our stay. We brought our own food to cook and was so happy to see how we were able to adjust and relax. Each day we were so excited to see the sunrise and see the beautiful view, my family said this trip was better then when we went to a tropical island. They loved it so much we are planning on booking again next year but this time stay longer. Thank you so much Jim for opening your beautiful home so we can enjoy it!

So relaxing!

My husband, myself and our two dogs stayed here over the long weekend and loved every minute of it. The cottage had everything we were looking for in a relaxing vacation. It was peaceful and the sounds of falling acorns and loons on the lake were lovely to hear. The cottage was clean and the kitchen had everything you could think of in regards to utensils and pots and pans. The furniture was comfy and there were lots of blankets to use for chilly weather. There is a great grocery store in town which is a short drive from the cottage. The view from the cottage is spectacular...There aren't any houses across the lake, so there's zero light pollution to muck up the beautiful view. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Great for swimming

It is a great place for six people maybe eight but really six people would be more comfortable. Very clean everything you need is there as far as cooking bathing sitting resting and swimming. I did not have any luck fishing in the middle of July. Fish usually go to deeper waters and warm weather, I tried everything under the sun and I did not land any fish. I was disgusted with fishing .That is why they call it tricky bond because it is a very tricky to catch fish. However it is the cleanest water I have ever seen in any lake or pond. Visibility was at least 10 feet clear to bottom.

Perfect

Best family vacation so far! My boyfriend, our dog and I stayed at this cozy cottage for a week. We had a blast! The house had almost everything you would need to live there. And that's what we did, live there. I love to cook so I made breakfast, lunch and dinner every day we were there. The kitchen was stocked with all the cookware you'd need and there is a Weber grill on the patio! The kayaks were a perfect addition. We took the two person kayak out on the pond almost everyday and caught a ton of small mouth bass. The water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming. The floating dock was a lot of fun too. We would kayak over to sunbathe, fish and drink :) We had a couple friends come up later in the week and they had a good time as well. Next year I want to rent this cottage again but for 2 weeks! I miss the peace and quiet we had there and can't wait to go back!

This is now my 6th trip to this beautiful lake house in Naples Maine area. Tricky Pond is perfect for a quiet and peaceful vacation without the rough waters of Naples's surrounding lakes. Very clean cottage. Perfect for families and friends. With plenty of space for 6 people this lake house has everything you need for the perfect vacation including a washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, internet, cable TV, board games, a deck with table and chairs, fire pit, kayaks, paddle boards, off street parking, boat mooring, air conditioning, and most important for Maine a lobster pot.

Lakeside fun on Trickey Pond!

We had a great time at the cottage! It’s right on the lake and the views are beautiful! We especially enjoyed the kayaks, floats and noodles! The kitchen was stocked with the gadgets, utensils and pots/pans we needed to cook meals, and Jim was easy to get in touch with! Great place to make memories on the lake :)
