So relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

My husband, myself and our two dogs stayed here over the long weekend and loved every minute of it. The cottage had everything we were looking for in a relaxing vacation. It was peaceful and the sounds of falling acorns and loons on the lake were lovely to hear. The cottage was clean and the kitchen had everything you could think of in regards to utensils and pots and pans. The furniture was comfy and there were lots of blankets to use for chilly weather. There is a great grocery store in town which is a short drive from the cottage. The view from the cottage is spectacular...There aren't any houses across the lake, so there's zero light pollution to muck up the beautiful view. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Cozy, peaceful and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay. Although it was gray and drizzling for two or the four days we were able to have a lovely fire each evening. The wood stove in the cottage kept us warm and cozy. The sunrise over the pond on our last morning there was spectacular. The house is well appointed and comfortable. Do yourself a favor and rent this gem for a few days!

Lovely cottage on Trickey Pond

  • 5 of 5

I had a very special stay at April and Jim Hiscock's lovely A-frame cottage on Trickey Pond in Naples, Maine. I live just an hour away but wanted a quiet if brief getaway in a beautiful setting. That is just what I found here, a well-taken-care-of summer home with all the amenities and incredible views. I went in September so the pond was especially quiet and with the tree colors just beginning to turn. Though the cottage itself is small, the sleeping areas are well arranged and comfortable, and the indoor and outdoor living and dining areas, along with the sleeping loft, all face the pond. Although only one of many vacation homes on Trickey Pond, Jim and April's feels very private and peaceful, looking out as it does on a long stretch of uninterrupted forest shoreline on the other side of the pond. It is a beautiful place that I hope to return to in the future.

Great spot to relax.

  • 5 of 5

This is the perfect place for a getaway. Very private street with an awesome lot and great access to the water right out front. Waking up to the view from the loft is fantastic. We missed his summer but will hopefully return next year. My actual stay was July 18th 2015 but I am very late in my review.

Great house on a beautiful lake

  • 5 of 5

You can't ask for much more. The house has everything you need including a large firepit which was beautiful for the cooler nights of September. The water is gorgeous and the house provides kayaks and floaties that allow you to get out and explore. We had a fantastic vacation and the little town of Naples is a short drive away (5 minutes) if you're looking for a place to eat or grab drinks.

Very quiet and peaceful and a beautiful lake

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and our dog just spent 4 days at the cottage and had a fantastic time. We really enjoyed grilling, swimming in the lake and the kayaks and fishing canoe that came with it. The kitchen was with more than just the basics which was handy. Just what we needed. We'll be back again. Julie, Scott and Penny
