Best week ever!

  • 5 of 5

Having grown up on Panther Pond, I was really looking forward to spending a week back on the lake. I had not seen this cottage in person before I booked our week, but I was familiar with the location. When we arrived, we were more than pleasantly surprised. The cottage is gorgeous, impeccably clean, and the owners have thought of everything to make your visit perfect. Our favorite room was the patio under the deck which was beautiful and where we ate dinner every night. And when we opened the neat little shed and saw all the water toys available, we were blown away! My wife can be a little picky when it comes to places to stay (don't worry, she knows I'm writing this!) but even she high fived me and said, "This place is great!". We are already planning a week for next summer.

The property is immaculate and the views, breathtaking. We couldn't have asked for more.

This was a fantastic rental property; the cottage is tastefully decorated; you literally want for nothing while staying there-they've thought of everything.

We were two families--4 adults and 4 teenagers. Adults had the upstairs bedrooms and bath, and kids occupied the daylight finished basement rooms and bath. The screened-in porch/lounge/and eating area was a bonus. The upstairs outside deck was wonderful to have. We had plenty of space.

Finally, the waterfront is amazing. We had nice weather most of the week, and we were in or on the the water a lot. We saw two eagles flying overhead, daily. Just a perfect spot to be, and some wonderful family memories too. Pack a bag and go! We'll be back.

Very clean and up to date cabin right on the lake!

  • 5 of 5

We are a group of middle-aged men that come up from Massachusetts once a year to go ice fishing. This was our first time in this cabin and we all loved it. We're already talking about booking for next year. It would also be a great place for a family or two to rent for a week. And the owners make the whole rental process extremely easy. Highly recommend!

Perfect vacation!

  • 5 of 5

Our family, consisting of 2 adults and 3 teenage kids, stayed at this lovely property in August. We had such a busy summer and even had to reschedule our week - Kristin was very accommodating and helpful. The property is so well taken care of. Everything has been thought of. We were more than comfortable. There are lots of places to spread out and relax. We only left the property to go hiking one day. We fished from the dock, took the kayaks out a lot- one day across the lake to the Tenney River, swam (the water is perfect - rocky but not weedy), played games on the screened-in porch, enjoyed sunsets by the water in front of a fire several nights. One afternoon, my husband even tied a raft/chair to the swim dock with his drink and just floated there for a couple of hours. The water was just perfect!

I was surprised when we arrived how far back off the road the cabin was -- we arrived at night so it seemed even deeper into the woods than it is but it is still close to many activities. We would love to stay again and maybe get out to explore, although, there really isn't a need to -- we rented this property to relax, get away from it all, enjoy time together, enjoying nature. This place more than fit the bill! I would highly recommend it!!

Best vacation spot in Raymond, ME

  • 5 of 5

This house is the perfect place to spend your vacation. We have been coming to Maine every summer for 11 years and this spot is our favorite. We rent this house every time we can! The house is immaculate and well appointed- they have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable and to feel at home. The house is spacious and perfect for those with kids (although we come, just the two of us, and it is equally as perfect). The deck extends the upstairs into the gorgeous outdoors and the screened in porch is perfect for those rainy days. Sit down by the water's edge at night and be prepared for the most spectacular sunsets. The owners are so nice and helpful and available should you need anything at all (which we never have). They have provided guests with access to their shed that contains swim toys, floats, chairs, balls, kayaks and even a bike. Not only is the setting ideal, the house is great, too. I highly recommend this property to anyone!

South Portland, Maine

Panther Pond Escape

  • 5 of 5

The vacation starts at the beginning of the dirt camp road to the cottage. Upta camp is a quiet, peaceful retreat to nature, with all the amenities. We book every year whenever we can. Always a perfect time. A lake side camp to enjoy the sound of the loons on the lake and the wind thru the trees.
