From start to finish; a perfect place to stay. Check in was simple and on time, everything was spotless and the space easy to use and enjoy. Next time we are traveling in Willamette Valley, this will be the first lodging we look into.
A short drive to downtown McMinnville for food and entertainment. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds and very spacious. Made for a very pleasant trip to Oregon wine country.
This house was comfortable and homey. Not having a kitchen sink was a bit of a hinderance, but we had all neccessary amenities. Thank you for the lovely stay.
Great location close to all the wineries and downtown restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Hosts responded quickly. The shower in the bathroom was not user friendly but we figured it out! Good price compared to other rentals in McMinnville. Would stay here again!

Robert,
I’m sorry your experience wasn’t better for you. We are very clear in our description that the Zimmer does not provide a kitchen, but does offer a coffee maker, ice maker, hot water kettle, toaster, refrigerator, and stemware, flatware and plates.
We are also clear that the Zimmer is in the upstairs of a a 1950s home: the bathroom has a full tub/shower combination.
As a budget lodging in a highly desirable wine region, we feel that the 900 square foot space is consistent with what we say we are providing.
Again, I am sorry to hear you were not fully satisfied.
Great stay at the Zimmer. Great communication with the owner and the property was exactly as decribed. Lots of room, comfy beds, clean, and plenty of comfy seating. The property is in a safe area with ample parking and lots of restaurants nearby.
A wonderful stay at this quiet, comfortable property. Communication with the owners was friendly and prompt. Will definitely enjoy returning to the Zimmer.
We had a great weekend visiting McMinnville for Linfield’s Homecoming. The Zimmer was convenient, spacious, and comfortable. Everything was perfect! We will be back.
The holiday flat lies in a quiet neighbourhood in McMinville. It was clean and comfortable and a pleasant place to stay while visiting family.
I would recommend it to others.
The accommodations were just as described. The Zimmer was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Three of us stayed very comfortably. We stayed for our Linfield University reunion. Perfect location, efficient communication and check in.
We enjoyed our stay - Estelle was great with communication and food recommendations. The unit is exactly as the pictures show. It’s in a quiet neighborhood while being close to downtown McMinnvile.
Well appointed. Clean and convenient although a car is needed to get downtown. No kitchen but not a problem for us. AC available and fans. Overall was an adequate place for our weekend stay. I would recommend.
If you are looking for a place to cook a big meal this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for a clean and quiet place with comfortable beds, and life’s basic requirements (coffee and coffee maker), with a deck to sit with a glass of wine this is perfect.

A wonderful place to stay and a great value
It's a wonderful place to stay and it's a great value, too: 2BR, 1 BA apartment is large and clean and nicely furnished, including a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, glasses, and disposable plates and utensils. The neighborhood is also very nice, and it's an easy 15 minute walk to downtown McMinnville, including its wine tasting rooms and brew pubs. The deck is as nice as the pictures show. If anyone has a handicap: It's a 2nd floor apartment so you must climb stairs.

Thank you for your kind words, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay.

We enjoyed our time there. The only suggestion would be to install a good handrail. The handrail that is there you can't wrap your hands around and had slivers.
But would stay again. Thanks,
Dawn F.

Dawn,
Thank you for the insight on the handrail. We will fix that this summer.

Why they chose this property
We opened the Oregon Wine Cottage in 2007. The Zimmer is our second vacation rental designed for the budgeting-sophisticated traveler. We also owned VRBO #150974, The Oregon Wine Cottage, from 2007 to 2020 when we closed it.
What makes this property unique
The Zimmer has two bedrooms, each with a king size bed. One bathroom, a living room with 50 inch TV, free Wifi. Private side entrance, up a flight of stairs to your door and private deck for sipping wine into the evening hours. Budget travel is possible in wine country!
