The Patterson Inn is located in the heart of Denver in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. It is situated on 11th and Pennsylvania, which back in the day was referred to as millionaires row. It is located just minutes away from downtown Denver and about a 10 min walk if you don't have a car. There are many local attractions that are within walking distance or just a short car ride away. The nearest park would be Cheesman park, which is a lovely place to have a picnic or enjoy some outdoor sports. The Denver Zoo which is always a highlight to see when you are in town is just a 10 minute car ride away. While you are over in that area you will also find the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. This museum is great for families or just an enthusiast. They always have some great new exhibit going on as well as wonderful IMAX movies. They have recently launched a new and amazing addition to the museum, which is called Discovery Zone. This is a great must see for children. Also near by is the Botanic Gardens. They usually have wonderful installations throughout the year. Recently they hosted Dale Chihuly who is a world renowned glass blower. If you are into art you are in for a treat! Just a couple blocks away from the mansion on 13th and Broadway you can find the Denver Art Museum. One of the largest collections of Native American artwork as well as many different installations by other artists. Coming up they will be having a wonderful installation done by Cartier. This summer they hosted Tom Wesselmann, who is big in pop art. If you would rather be outside we are just a car ride away from the mountains which boast beautiful scenery and amazing hiking trails.
