Jackrabbit Ranch on ylellinen 16 hehtaarin lomakohde, joka sijaitsee Baldwin-jÀrven alueella Big Bearilla. Se on tÀydellinen paikka lomille perheen tai ystÀvien kanssa, romanttisiin lomiin, hiihtoryhmiin, hevosurheilulajiin hevosten kanssa ja paljon muuta!

Karjatila on 6000 neliöjalkaa, siinÀ on 8 makuuhuonetta ja 8 1/2 kylpyhuonetta, pÀÀrakennuksen gourmet-keittiö ja biljardipöytÀ. Suuressa sotkusalissa on toinen keittiö. KiinteistössÀ on 3-pilttuinen navetta ja avoin karjatalo, joten voit kuljettaa omat hevosesi loman aikana!

Nauti tÀmÀn yksityisen karjatilan rauhasta ja yksityisyydestÀ, mutta pysy vain lyhyen 10-15 minuutin ajomatkan pÀÀssÀ Big Bear -jÀrvestÀ, Snow Summitista ja Big Bear Village -kaupoista ja ravintoloista.

LÀheisiin aktiviteetteihin kuuluvat ratsastus, veneily, vesihiihto, maastopyörÀily, lumikenkÀily, lumilautailu, lumihiihto ja vetoketju!

Perfect house for a getaway with multiple families. The house is SO spacious! We relaxed all weekend, truly enjoyed the property. Check in was a breeze and Laurie was a great host. We would love to return one day!

Another fabulous wknd at the JJR

This is our second stay at the JRR . We are a group of 20 and we were so pleased with our stay last year we decided to stay here again this year. The property design provides so much space that even with our big group you never feel crowded whatsoever. It's very secluded and spacious and the furnishings and amenities are second to none. Janith, the care taker of the property, is extremely helpful and professional and even helped us recover a lost item we accidently left behind. We are looking forward to staying here again soon.

Absolutely Wonderful

This is our second time staying at the Jackrabbit Ranch. The property is incredibly well set up for large groups with bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Our group loves to cook, and the kitchen is stocked with all of the equipment needed for creating large meals. The shared indoor spaces can comfortably handle 20 people and the outdoor spaces all have amazing views. The property also has enough land for the kids to roam safely and even see horses in the distance. Communication is fast and easy. I cannot recommend this place enough, and we hope to keep returning.

Amazing Property, Beautiful Views and Awesome Owners

Our family of 14 and 5 dogs just returned from this beautiful, warm, rustic property near Baldwin Lake. My parents couldn't help comparing the property to the Ponderosa Ranch, while my siblings and their spouses felt like they were on Yellowstone at Dutton Ranch. This is a property resort that offers every possible amenity you could need. We had so much fun playing horseshoes, exploring the property, playing games, and shooting pool/playing foosball. We also loved being away from the traffic/crowds near the Village but were still close enough to drive-in and shop if we wanted. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home, we will definitely be back!

Amazing place!

We had such a great time. Plenty of room for 5 families. The property is beautiful and has all the amenities of a resort. I am a cook and I loved the kitchen. It was able to cook for 18 people with no issues. I didn’t even need to use the mess hall. It’s far enough from town that you have total seclusion but within 10 minutes you can get any anything you forgot to bring. On the day we were packing up, we were already talking about next years trip. Thank you so much for a memorable weekend!

Perfection

The Jackrabbit Ranch was the epitome of perfection for our women's retreat over Labor Day Weekend. There was plenty of space for everyone and I cannot express how much I appreciated the double kitchen/"mess hall" when it came to feeding everyone! The home was gorgeous and the hosts were diligent about communicating all pertinent information prior to our arrival. When I drove up I felt like I was entering my own little slice of heaven! We are so grateful and will definitely be back one day - highly recommend this property to any families or groups looking to enjoy some time in the mountains!!

Beautiful home

We had the pleasure of staying at Jackrabbit ranch the weekend of Dec 15-17. Prior to the stay, communication was outstanding. Laurie was even sending me links to the conditions in Big Bear. The day we were scheduled to arrive, Irma, the property manager reached out with instructions of check in. In addition, she checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The house (and grounds) was beautiful . The kids (both the 2 legged and 4 legged kind) had so much room to play. We had a great time and we are looking forward to more visits!

The ranch is outdated furniture, falling apart the pictures make it look better than what it is. The The Owner have to call you in order for you to book to tell you that if the people come out to tell them that you’re their friends because they’re not supposed to have over seven people at first I thought it was a scam. It was just really hard to book.having to go through all that.. I think she should get her things together with the city so she doesn’t have to tell people what to say in order to stay at the ranch..

What a cool place!

We had a group of 20+ (half kids and half adults, kids from 13yrs to 13 months old) and Jackrabbit Ranch was a hit for everyone. It was the perfect mix of together time mixed with quiet spaces to hang out in smaller groups. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked. The outside cooking and eating spaces were also wonderful. We had four girl cousins that shared the bunk room together and it was like their own mini vacation (although I don't think they got much sleep). There is a ton to do on the property, plenty to explore. The kids even put on a little talent show on the stage. (talent may be stretching it a bit). Depending on where you're going, it's a 10-20min drive to Big Bear where there's lots to do, places to eat, etc. Would definitely recommend Jackrabbit Ranch for a family get-together.

Breathtaking

This property was amazing, I rented this property to celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary with my family. I had a party of 20 family members and we all fit very comfortably. The ranch is an amazing place, specially in the mornings when we all sit in the back of the house talking and drinking coffee, and in the afternoon we all play volleyball it was really fun. I love how spacious this place is and how well equipped it was. I absolutely love the privacy of this place and the tranquility of it. I would definitely recommend it, and I would definitely rented again. Irma the property caretaker was amazing in answering all my questions and immediately returned my text. Thank you so much Irma. Birthday Weekend

Wanted to thank you so much for an amazing weekend! The house and property is stunning, VRBO does not do it justice at all! From Friday night till yesterday morning we cooked, ate, drank, napped and repeat. Celebrated bdays, we had sports day Sunday afternoon and we laughed and laughed. The mess hall was a godsend for the catering “hub”. And the kitchen for serving and various happy hours and meals! Front porch with the grills became the bday dinner location, but Sunday night we sat out back at the picnic tables. Dogs roamed, chased a few rabbits lol, no blood shed! Can’t wait to return, I know I’ll be booking again for next year, if you’ll have us back. Everyone has said it was the best weekend I’ve done up there. One request was can I get a pool installed for next year 😂 Just such a fabulous experience we all had, including the dogs! Thank you again!

Family getaway; limited handicap accessibility

Overall property and experience was great! Spacious parking, big kitchen (stocked w cooking utensils and kitchenware) and bedrooms and bathrooms well kept, towels provided. Two things to to take into consideration when booking. 1) there is no AC. So during the day into the evening it was pretty warm inside the cabins (we went in July). But there were ceiling fans and plug in fans. 2) limited handicap accessibility. To access a bedroom you do need to take a few steps, no ramp. Some of the rooms do have walk-in showers. Others were tub showers. However, plenty of activities for all ages. We enjoyed drinking early morning coffee and sounds of nature, playing horse shoe out back, taking scenic walks, horseback riding at walking distance, playing at nearby park basketball and tennis, went to the lake to ride jet skis, watched movies (tv in family room) and barbecued (bbq provided at the cabin;grocery store nearby). So plenty of things to do and whole family overall had fun!

Jackrabbit Ranch is a spacious home on a large parcel of land with plenty of room for all. The kitchens are large and have plenty of pots and pans and eating dishes and utensils. We cooked every night we were there. The tv's are great-I love the fact that we could use our own log-ins for the channels that we subscribe too. I stayed in the master suite and the bathroom and room are huge. The shower was awesome. The grounds outside are big enough for a family game of soccer or kickball or whatever. We had one night where the wild burros or the region visited in the yard. A fun time was had by all. The check out situation is easy and fast. I have no complaints. Just a couple of mentions: if you are going to take a jacuzzi bath, run the jets in some cold water before you use it-debris collects in the tubes if it's not used frequently. I've already forgotten the other thing. Oh well. Also, Baldwin lake is gone, so don't expect a lake. Hopefully Big Bear lake will be around for years to come.

We keep coming back!

We love this house. It is perfect for our urban family, and is our 4th time returning. It has a kitchen that is perfect for prepping big dinners, while chatting with friends and family. Every bedroom has an en suite, and the views and grounds are phenomenal. We look forward to next year when we return.

The most AMAZING place to stay!

We had the best time. It was the most perfect place for a big family. It’s almost set up like a bed and breakfast where they have several private bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The property was fun to walk around and play games. We have stayed in a lot of rentals and this place has to be one of the coolest and most memorable. We will definitely be coming back.

We liked the place so much that we have decided to rent it 3rd time in 2025. What we liked - away from the town, quiet but we can make noise, rustic look but modern amenities, we can enjoy beautiful sunset as well as sunrise. The property caretaker is superb !!

We enjoyed the facility and the surroundings very much.

Great place for a family!

We had a great family get together at Jackrabbit Ranch! The location is beautiful and the house is in great shape! It was stocked with plenty of plates, cups, etc for the group!

Wonderful Property

This is our third time at Jackrabbit, and it continues to be the perfect place for our large group of friends, who are like family. The kitchen and open living room are the perfect place to make meals while enjoying the company of everyone. The kitchen is also well stocked with equipment and dishes to make big meals. The beds are comfy and the rooms well decorated. The property has tons of space for the kids to run around. We continue to love coming here, and look forward to coming back.

Beautiful home

The home was clean and had everything we needed. Our family had an amazing time Only con was that some of the rooms were somewhat separate from the main house. It wasn’t an issue for us.

Another Wonderful Thanksgiving at Jackrabbit Ranch!

My family and I returned to Jackrabbit Ranch this Thanksgiving to make another batch of wonderful memories. We are a mixed age group of humans and dogs and everyone had so much fun! The sky was blue and the air was crisp-we hoped for snow but were honestly fine without it. The space has rooms and bathrooms galore-spaces to hang together and areas to seek solitude in. We played ball in the huge yard and took the little kids on hikes around the property. The bathrooms are well stocked with toilet paper and the kitchen had plenty of paper towels. Some places are so stingy with this stuff. The kitchen has tons of plates, glasses and silverware and ovens-the mess hall is a great place to both eat and store extra food and beverages. We cooked every night-and were able to find most things we needed. However, if you have special needs for your cooking, make sure to bring those items. Like immersion blenders and good chef knives. Our family is full of very good chefs. If you are going to use the master bath jetted tub, make sure to run a full bath with the jets on to get out all of the built up sediments that spew out of the jets. Drain and repeat. A great place, a great trip and the owners and manager are very responsive. Yee Haw, Jackrabbit Ranch.
