What a beautiful home. A unique log cabin with rustic appearances and modern conveniences on a huge lot and great lakefront space to swim and play. So much space inside and outside on multiple porches and decks, we could have brought all the cousins and friends and would have had plenty of room for all.

The lake had everything you could want and they thought about everything . However the property is very dated and old . Door knobs fell off and cobwebs everywhere, trash left behind trash cans and under beds .

The house was not clean. There were wet towels in the washer when we arrived. There was a LOT of trash under the sofas. The doors' glass was smeared from dogs and kids. The screened porch needs new screen and doors. The house doors all stick. The downstairs bath door doesn't have a knob or lock that works. We were unable to find a Shell station at I-85 and 903 to drop the trash. There were open, half drunk sodas on the refrigerator door. The refrigerator needs to be cleaned out and cleaned. It could be a really sweet lake house. The house needs a lot of maintenance. We did enjoy the dock and the lake. It was disappointing because you can tell the owners love the place and are very gracious.

We stayed here with a family of 13 and we absolutely LOVED it! We loved the log cabin abd we had plenty of room! We cooked home made meals every night and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house is very close to a ramp to launch your boat, which was very nice as we brought our boat and just tied it up to the dock. There were also kayaks, canoes, and this really cool water mat. And a water trampoline! The hosts were so pleasant and easy to communicate with, and very responsive! This was the best family vacation we have had! We absolutely loved Hobo Haven and are already planning to come back next year! I also wanted to make a comment to anyone who reviewed this property and complained about the spiders. Spiders are a part of the lake! It’s going to be a thing no matter what! So please do not read that and think bad of this home, or these hosts. Their home is beautiful and we can’t say enough how much we enjoyed it. It was perfect for our family. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Our family had so much fun at this lake house! The dock and lakefront are amazing. The kids had the best time jumping off the top deck of the dock, playing on the giant lily pad, and sunbathing on the trampoline. We brought our speed boat and it was very easy to dock. Driving the boat under the bridge from the marina is a bit tight but it’s nice having a place to get gas so close. The cove in front of the house is perfect for water skiing and tubing. The screened in porch was great for eating and playing games. We enjoyed having fires in the fire pit every night too. We tried to bring sheets so we didn’t have to wake up early to wash everything but there’s actually 2 king size beds instead of all queen beds. Just something to note if you’re planning to bring sheets.

We had a wonderful time at this very cozy lakefront house. The house was decorated for Christmas which was really nice for our holiday stay. While it wasn't warm enough for us to be outside for most of our time here, we did use the fire pit and loved ours views of the lake from virtually every room. The double living areas were much appreciated, along with the full bathrooms on all 3 floors. Great place to get away from the everyday world!

Always love staying here. This was not our first visit. Always a mixture of country and lake all in one. We love it and it's very near to our favorite fishing spots. We had a great time and will stay again!

For a last minute stay in the fall, it was a nice stay. There may have been some vacancy between the last stay and ours which led to it not being as clean (kitchen, surfaces, webs across most entries to the home. Setting was nice - we enjoyed the cabin feel of the home and it was stocked with a ton of stuff. Overall still had a great time

Wonderful!

We stayed at this home for a fishing tournament our son participated in. It was comfortable, clean, cozy, and stocked. It is lovely in the inside and just beautiful on the outside. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay and enjoy!

Check in and out is always a breeze. Everything you will ever need to cook with.....it's here. All convenient appliances provided. Beautiful cabin right on the lake. Awesome firepit here with lots of sitting space for sitting around a nice fire at night. The house is so big making it nice for everyone to spread out and be comfy. We loved our visit. This was our second stay. We will definitely be back.

It was a wonderful family honeymoon!

We got married and wanted to celebrate with the grown kids and grands and it was the perfect place for that! We had a great time and the house made it easy for everyone to either be together or have some quiet time on their own. The dock and lake were wonderful! It was wonderful!
